After a year.....
I was standing infront of mirror getting ready . It was the big day for me.
I AM GETTING MARRIED...
I cant believe this day has come finally. Me and Kartik dated eachother for a year and then finally decided to get married. We got to know eachother and he told me he wants to have me for the rest of his life.
His mom came to india recently . She liked me but more than that she loved me. My parents were more than happy to see us together. Trisha and my other siblings have kept on teasing me the entire year. Kartik and I had many dates but the first one was special in which he took me to a beautiful place in the hills. We kissed eachother millions of times.
We are something called PERFECT
Kartik says "we dont have to be perfect to stay together" but i believe we are perfect for eachother. Karan called me last week to congratulate. He is in Madrid right now and has a girlfriend who is perfect for him.
He found his perfect finally. I felt guilty for some time but when i found out he has someone who loves him , my guilt faded away.
"Di...Jaldi taiyaar hoiye....Jiju aa gaye hain" Trisha came in my room and saw me wearing the most beautiful wedding dress. Kartik's mom had choosen this for me and i cant love it more. This day will be remembered forever.
She walked to her and hugged tightly because i love her so much. She is the best sister anyone can have.
"Di dont be senti yaar....Jiju will not marry you" She said and i broke the hug.
"Huh...Kaise nahi karega shaadi...
Agr bhaagne ki koshish bhi kari na to usko kachcha chaba jaungi.." I said in deadly tone. I was literally going to kill him if he tried to run away. Now there is no stepping back Dr.Sahab .
"Di waise kartik jiju to doctor hain...Apko to free treatment milega roz..."
She said and i blushed because i got what she meant by "free treatment".
Then, Mumma called me and trisha as it was time now. I am just few minutes away from becoming Dr.kartik Goenka's wife .
I stepped down the stairs sensing kartik's eyes on me. He was standing near mandap waiting eagerly for me.
I looked up and our eyes met. He is madly in love with me and so i am.
Main baarish ho jaaunga
Tum baadal ho jaaogi
Dekh lena.. dekh lena..
Kartik smiled at me as he grabbed my hand to take me near the altar.
Itna tumko chaahunga
Tum paagal ho jaaogi
Dekh lena.. dekh lena..
We sat down and priest started chanting his mantras. I cant believe i am getting married to kartik.
I remembered how i met him and how much he means to me now.
Kehta hai sunn, yeh dhoop kinara
Tera hua, main saara ka saara
Dekh lena, tere honthon pe hamesha
Main hansta hi rahunga dekh lena..
Dekh lena.. bheegi jo teri aankhen
Aankhon se main bahunga dekh lena...
He always was with me and i am with him. We belong together and together. We again got up and then with all blessings from our parents we exchanged garlands. We smiled at eachother and then papa did my kanyadaan.
Hmm.. Dil toh hai har seene mein
Hai pyaar lekin mujhme
Sabse zyada dekh lena
Mmm.. apni lakeeron mein
Main likh lungi khud hi tumko
Hai mera vaada dekh lena
Then, It was time for pheras (seven steps around the fire altar). We took seven vows including promise to stay together always. Then kartik places sindoor on my forehead signifying that i am now married to him and then he made me wear the mangalsutra around my neck. A lone tear escaped my eyes as our eyes met.
We both know how much this moment means for us.
Kehta hai sunn, yeh dhoop kinara

Dekh lena tere honthon pe hamesha
Main hansta hi rahunga dekh lena…
Dekh lena.. bheegi jo teri aankhen
Aankhon se main bahunga dekh lena..
Pandit ji declares us as a married couple.
We again got up on our feets and walked towards our parents to take their blessings. They gave their blessings to us with whole heart.
Finally....WE ARE MARRIED
Skip to night....
I was sitting on bed which was decorated with flower petals. I was feeling nervous for the first time.
"Pagal naira....aisa kyo feel kar rahi hai..." I cursed myself because i never felt this way before. Then , I heard door close and i gulped in nervousness.
It was kartik....he came and sat near me on bed. He was looking at me and then he smiled.
"Tum agar nahi chahti to...mei wait-" I didn't let him complete his sentence and hugged him. I want this...I want to surrender myself to kartik. I have waited for this day and i cant ruin it because of nervousness.
"Are you sure?" This stupid doctor. Yes i want this. Dont make me wait Doctor sahab. I nodded my head and he cupped my face and leaned to kiss me.
We kissed ❤️ and lights went off......
FINALLY WE BECAME KAIRA💗❤️
Our love story was hell of a Rollercoaster ride with twists and turns but we got something to tell our grandchildren 😂.
I love you kartik....
And
He loves me enough...
WE WILL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
