In Vegas's mansion

(knock knock)

Vegas:- come in
The man:- sorry sir we couldn't get them.
Vegas:- you got one job but still failed to do it.
Vegas:- I have to do everything by myself.
Vegas:- before I blow your head, leave

Back to Ran and Taeyong

Ran woke up from her nap and went to get ready for the day. Ran and taeyong sat down to eat breakfast.

Taeyong:- I think those guys are Vegas's people
Ran:- yeah
Taeyong:- I need to restore some stuff, I will go in the afternoon and will be back soon.
Ran:- I will come with you.
Taeyong:- no need, you can take a rest cuz you look so tired.
Ran:- I didn't get much sleep yesterday
Taeyong:- so take a rest and I will come back quickly.
Ran:- okay then.

After they finished their breakfast. Taeyong went out while Ran took a nap. Meanwhile taeyong left the house. the morning sun casting long shadows as he made his way down the quiet street. The city was just waking up, and the streets were still relatively empty. He felt the weight of his earlier conversation with Ran, but he brushed it aside, focusing on the task at hand. He had to retrieve some critical items from a safehouse across town- documents that couldn't be left unguarded for long.He walked with purpose, his senses sharp as he navigated the familiar streets.
The safehouse was only a few blocks away, hidden in plain sight among the nondescript buildings. Taeyong approached it casually, glancing around to ensure he wasn't being followed.
Satisfied, he entered the small, abandoned storefront that served as a front for the safehouse. Once inside, he quickly made his way to the back room, where he retrieved a hidden key and unlocked the metal safe embedded in the wall. He pulled out a small leather pouch and a few documents, tucking them securely into his jacket. Everything seemed routine- too routine, in hindsight. As he exited the building and began the walk back to the house. a strange feeling settled in his gut like something was off. He brushed it aside at first, but the sensation grew stronger with each step. He quickened his pace, scanning his surroundings more carefully. It wasn't until he turned into an alley, taking a shortcut home, that he realized his instincts had been right. A figure stepped out from the shadows, blocking his path. Taeyong's heart skipped a beat when he recognized the man standing in front of him: Vegas.

Vegas:- long time no see
Taeyong:- what do you want?

Vegas smirked, taking a step closer.

Vegas:- You've been causing quite a bit of trouble for me lately. I thought it was time we had a little... chat.

Taeyong's hand instinctively went to the knife concealed in his jacket, but before he could draw it, Vegas was already moving. He lunged forward, and Taeyong barely managed to sidestep the initial attack. The alley erupted into a flurry of movement as the two men engaged in a brutal fight. Vegas was fast, faster than Taeyong had anticipated. He fought with precision, every strike calculated to wear Taeyong down. Taeyong fought back with everything he had, landing a few solid blows, but it was clear Vegas had the upper hand. The confined space of the alley didn't help-there was little room to maneuver, and Vegas used that to his advantage.A sharp punch to the ribs left Taeyong winded, and before he could recover, Vegas landed a kick that sent him sprawling to the ground. Taeyong tried to roll away, but Vegas was on him in an instant, pinning him down with surprising strength.

Vegas:- you should've known better than to go out alone. (Vegas hissed, his breath hot against Taeyong's ear as he twisted his arm behind his back, forcing him into submission.)

Taeyong struggled, but Vegas had him completely immobilized. He felt the cold bite of metal as Vegas pulled out a set of zip ties, securing his wrists tightly behind his back.

Taeyong:- Damn it

Taeyong muttered, trying to break free, but it was no use. Vegas was too strong, and he had been caught off guard. Vegas chuckled softly, clearly enjoying the victory.

Vegas:- you're coming with me. ( while hauling Taeyong to his feet with little effort.) We have a lot to discuss.

Taeyong glared at him, but there was nothing he could do as Vegas dragged him toward a sleek black car parked at the end of the alley. He shoved Taeyong into the back seat, slamming the door shut before climbing into the driver's seat. The drive to Vegas's mansion was tense and silent. Taeyong's mind raced, thinking of ways to escape, but with his hands bound and Vegas constantly glancing back at him, he had no options. All he could do was wait and hope that Ran would realize something was wrong before it was too late. When they arrived at the mansion, Vegas led Taeyong inside, his grip firm on his arm. The place was as opulent and intimidating as Taeyong remembered, every detail designed to impress and instill fear. Vegas pushed Taeyong into a large, dimly lit room, where a single chair sat in the center.

Vegas:- sit. (he ordered, his voice leaving no room for argument.)

Taeyong complied, though his mind was already working on a plan to escape.
Vegas moved behind him, securing him to the chair with more zip ties, ensuring he couldn't move.

Vegas:- you and I, are going to have a long conversation about your recent activities.

Taeyong:- Ran will come for me

Vegas's smirk widened.

Vegas:- I'm counting on it.
