Seokjin checked on his phone. Almost 9 pm and Taehyung hadn't shown up yet. His long meeting and probably Friday night traffic had held him longer than he was supposed to be. Seokjin fixed his seat and scanned the small lobby of this luxurious condominium building complex where Taehyung lived. Taehyung had given him his passcode key to his condo, but Seokjin still felt reluctant to go in there alone while his owner was away. This was only his second time here somehow.

"Excuse me, is this seat taken?" An old man in a white polo shirt asked casually.

"No, Sir, please." Seokjin smiled and averted his gaze back to the book he currently read.

"Waiting for someone?" The old man asked again.

"Um, yeah." Seokjin nodded politely. "You, Sir?"

"Yeah. Waiting for my son." He shrugged. "Your girlfriend?"

"Uh... boyfriend, actually..." Seokjin smiled timidly.

"Ah!" The old man nodded and smiled. "How could he make you wait like this, why didn't he give you his passcode door? How unreliable!" He shook his head.

"Uh... He did, it's just, I don't feel good about getting in when he's not there..."

"Aah... I see. How did you two meet?"

"Um, through my brother-in-law. They had business together and he wanted me to handle his projects..." Seokjin said carefully.

"Business arrangement? Sounds convenient for the parties involved, heh? You have to be careful, don't let them use you!"

Seokjin smiled awkwardly.

"Young men these days... You know! Tch!" The old man continued. "Especially with a handsome man like yourself. Be careful with those walking red flags, you know!"

"Yes, Sir." Seokjin nodded again obediently.

"I'm Kim Taejun, by the way."

"I'm Seokjin, Sir."

"Has your boyfriend ever stood you up like this before?"

"No, Sir." Seokjin smiled.

"Be careful! If he does that for the second time, then it's a red flag. If he did it for the third time, then it's a pattern. You better leave him!" Kim Taejun stressed it.

"Has he introduced you to his family?"

"Not yet, Sir."

"Why, though? Is he even serious with you?! How much do you know about him, then?"

"Well, um..."

"And when will he arrive? He had made you wait this long. What's his excuse?"

"Um, a meeting, Sir..."

"Huh! My son used the same excuse! In a meeting, I'll be there as soon as I can, Appa!" He said with a playful mockery voice.

Seokjin let out a light chuckle.

"If I don't need the golf clubs he borrowed from me, I won't even come here. Unfortunately I have no choice, I'll need them early morning, tomorrow, for some kind of important business arrangement with my colleagues, and my son can't send them to me tonight because of his late meeting. And he can't send them to me tomorrow because he'll have a date with his boyfriend!"

"Appa?" A rather surprised greeting cut their conversation.

Seokjin looked up and saw his boyfriend standing there. Wait, 'Appa'?

"Taehyung?" Kim Taejun looked up at his first-born son.

"I see you've met my boyfriend!" Taehyung glanced at both of them back and forth.

Kim Taejun's jaw dropped right there and then. A walking red flag... bla bla bla... you better leave him... yadda yadda.... Apparently is his own son???!!
