Recap
Just a normal day in Alex's life when one afternoon, in his class the speaker announced zombies have overrun the school. Alex and Eugene fight since Alex wants to leave and Eugene wants to stay. The class sides with Alex but Eugene bates the zombies and they're trapped. The class runs but Aldrin (a boy with an underdeveloped brain) gets eaten alive. The group manages to run inside another classroom and then they leave once again.
The class runs with the other class when Eugene steps on Kyla's toe and she screams alerting the zombies. Everyone splits up. Alex ends up with Kian and Joshua. Michael ends up with Trizha, Noralyn and Chloe. Airesh ends up with Julia, Zhad, Jack, Mark and Andrea. Eugene wakes up with a bloody head because after the run, he fell down a small hill and hit his head. Zhad, Jack and Andrea explore and find Gabriel and they move on. Kisha is kidnapped by a guy named Kai and escapes but runs into Eugene and they get into a huge fight which gets them caught.
Alex and Joshua explore and find Trizha's team and going back they see Ethan and Gabriella. Alex, Joshua and Michael scavenge for food while talking about how their friendship grew further apart. Alex assigned Aljhon and Noralyn to get berries in the forest. Noralyn trips and discovers a camp. Julia's team decide to find Alex and Jack trips and finds a camp. Julia's team stays at the camp being welcomed by Kai. Alex's team also stays at the camp and reunite.
The group do a night party but Alex steps out to breathe. Michael sees this and talks with him. The two go to a secret spot and the tension rises. The two are about to kiss when Garreth, the head guard intervenes. When Garreth leaves, Michael tries to kiss Alex again but Alex leaves explaining he can't get attached.
Alex, Noralyn, Michael, Mark, Andrea and Joshua go on a mission to a mall. Mark smells something fishy between Alex and Michael so he leaves them alone. Zombies overrun and Michael and Alex end up in a janitors closet together. Noralyn, Andrea, Max(their guide" and Joshua and up in the second floor trapped. The group escape and see a guy named Zach and save him, it turns out Zach is Chloe's sister and they reunite. Kisha escapes and hides in the forest. Gabriel explores the forest and sees Kisha and helps her. Gabriel tries to invite Kisha but Kisha tells him everything. Kai used to be their classmate who transferred somewhere else and he bullied Kisha because they got into a fight back then. The two share a kiss and Kisha runs away.
Kisha looks apon the camp and Julia notices her and invites her but she tells the story. Julia comes with Kisha and they go to an urban neighborhood where they are about to die. The two are saved by Lea and Shakira (their classmates who got split) and they travel together. Kai discovers Kisha gone and sends Eugene off to find her.
Gabriel walks back to the camp and sees Trizha and he tells the story. Trizha tells the story to Alex and then Alex, Michael, and Gabriella go to a mission to find Garreth. The three are trapped in a house when Alex saves them by using a bow he found, he keeps it and they stumble upon Kisha's group. Gabriella goes with Kisha's group and Alex is with only Michael now. The two talk one night and share a kiss. They find Garreth next morning who explains that he was bitten because of Kai and Kai will frame Alex and Michael for his death. He says they have to do something and stop staying. Michael and Alex are outside the camp but don't go inside and hide.
