A few weeks later, another new student arrived, and when Y/N heard his name, her heart nearly stopped. "Jeon Jungkook," he introduced himself.
Y/N's eyes widened in shock. No way... The name was too familiar, too similar to the character who was Y/N's love interest in the novel. Her mind raced as she tried to make sense of it all.
She convinced herself it was just a bizarre coincidence, but when she got home, the real horror hit. The book she had been reading was gone. Vanished. Even the online interview with the author that had excited her so much had disappeared. She searched frantically but found no trace of it anywhere.
The next day, Y/N's mother informed her that an old friend of her was visiting with her son. Y/N thought nothing of it until the doorbell rang, and her world tilted off its axis. Standing there was none other than Jeon Jungkook.
She could barely manage to introduce herself, her mind whirling with confusion and disbelief. As their parents caught up, Y/N and Jungkook found themselves alone. After a few awkward moments, they started talking.
"Have you ever read a book by Cha Banu?" Y/N asked, her voice hesitant.
Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise. "I have. It's actually one of my favorites. But... I had a weird experience with the last one. A character had the same name as me, Jeon Jungkook, and it freaked me out.
Y/N's heart pounded in her chest. "The same thing happened to me! The main character's name was Y/N' I think you know.
YN'S POV :
Further he informed that his book also went missing even the interview video.
We both were shocked.
AUTHOR'S POV:
The room fell silent as they processed the surreal revelation. Both of them had read the same book, both had their names appear in it, and now, they were meeting in real life under circumstances that mirrored the novel.
Jungkook let out a nervous laugh. "Maybe it's fate. Maybe the book was telling us something."
Y/N smiled faintly, though her mind was still reeling. She didn't know what to make of it, but one thing was clear—this was no ordinary story.
