Izzy knew she was playing a dangerous game, but the thrill of it all, the attention, the power—she couldn't resist. After weeks of dropping hints and teasing the media, she decided it was time to make her move. Taehyung had been avoiding her calls, and she knew the only way to force his hand was to confront him in person. And what better place than his own home, where privacy should have been guaranteed?

But Izzy had other plans. Before heading over, she sent a message to a paparazzo she'd worked with before, a sleazy character who thrived on celebrity gossip. "Be ready," she told him, her voice dripping with confidence. "I'm going to give you the shot of a lifetime."

When she arrived at Taehyung's house, her demeanor was anything but sincere. Taehyung was taken aback by her unannounced visit, his frustration quickly bubbling to the surface. "Izzy, what are you doing here? We have nothing to talk about."

But Izzy, ever the actress, ignored his words, slipping past him and into the house. She draped herself across his living room couch, a sly smile playing on her lips. "Oh, come on, Tae. You don't mean that. We have history, and you know you've missed me."

Taehyung's patience snapped. "Izzy, get out. I'm serious. We're done, and I don't want anything to do with you anymore."

But Izzy was undeterred. She stood, closing the distance between them, her hand reaching out to touch his arm. "Are you sure about that?" she whispered, her voice low and suggestive.

It was in that exact moment that the flash of a camera lit up the room. Taehyung's eyes widened in shock as he realized what had just happened. Izzy, however, remained perfectly composed, a satisfied smirk tugging at her lips as she turned towards the window where the paparazzo had been lurking.

Taehyung quickly pulled away from her, his voice a mix of anger and panic. "What the hell did you just do, Izzy?"

Izzy shrugged nonchalantly; her expression unbothered. "What can I say? The world needed to see that we still have a connection."

Taehyung was furious, but his anger was nothing compared to the sinking dread that washed over him as he realized what this meant for Y/N. He tried to call her immediately, desperate to explain, but it was too late. The damage was done.

The next morning, the photos were everywhere. Headlines screamed about Taehyung and Izzy rekindling their romance, the images perfectly staged to imply a level of intimacy that hadn't been there. The betrayal hit Y/N like a ton of bricks. She had been holding onto hope, despite everything, but seeing those pictures shattered her completely.

When Taehyung finally managed to reach her, she was cold and distant, her voice shaking with emotion. "I saw the pictures, Taehyung. Don't bother explaining. I should have known this would happen."

"Y/N, please," Taehyung pleaded, his voice desperate. "It's not what it looks like. She set me up. You have to believe me."

But Y/N couldn't bring herself to listen. The hurt was too raw, the trust too broken. "I can't do this anymore, Taehyung. I can't keep wondering who or what is going to come between us next. I'm done."

Taehyung felt his world crumble as she hung up the phone. The emptiness that followed was unlike anything he had ever felt before. He sat in his silent home, the place where he had once imagined a future with Y/N, now a cold and hollow shell of what could have been. Every corner reminded him of her, every thought tormented him with the knowledge that he had lost the one person who mattered most.

For the first time in his life, Taehyung felt completely and utterly alone. No amount of fame, no adoring fans, and no amount of success could fill the void that Y/N's absence left in his heart. The betrayal was complete, and the emptiness that followed threatened to consume him whole.
