River Coast

Chapter 1 - River Coast

When Britishers ruled the whole world . River Coast was one of the most beautiful towns of that era . The girls from the town used to smell like fresh strawberries and roses . Royal people used to visit the town every evening , for the scenic beauty and beautiful girls . Royal families used to date girls from the River Coast. It was believed that the town had mush green plants and flowers everywhere and people where white as snow . Also the men from the town used to look like Greek gods. The town had big pillars at the entrance so that no one outside the town can enter, except Royal family. People from the town were rich and wealthy and had very less contact with nearby towns.

A girl named Sophie used to live in River Coast and was talk of the town , because of her beautiful blonde hairs , blue eyes and light pink lips . She used to look like an angel from heaven. Her dad Rodger was a polo champion of his era and was a very close friend of King David . King David was also a big fond of polo , so David and Rodger were friends since childhood because of same polo academy. When David was a prince he was gifted a whole village by his father just to play polo , they kicked out almost all the villagers out of the area for that.

So Sophie was believed to be the most beautiful girl in River Coast and Prince Brice was a good friend of her. David and Rodger wanted them to get married . Brice and Sophie also had a liking for each other. As David was the King of almost 1/4th of the Globe and Brice was the only son he had, it looked like Sophie was the luckiest young lady . All her cousins and friends were jealous of her.

Every evening, Brice used to visit her in the Royal Chariot and they used to hang out a lot. One evening Brice and Sophie were going to Palace in the Royal Chariot, it was almost 20 minutes away from River Coast. Suddenly the chariot stopped halfway. Both Brice and Sophie were in the back of the chariot, and they heard the charioteer shouting , "Oh God! No Way!", and everything went quite, it was like a pin drop silence for a minute. Sophie was scared, Prince took his sword and started peeking out of his little window , His eyeballs stretched and He jumped back towards her and told her to stay quiet and to breathe lightly. A group of Bears attacked the Chariot and they took the charioteer with them, all that was left were his fingers and a part of his neck. Both the horses were injured and were bleeding. After few minutes somebody knocked on their chariot.

It was a boy same as their age, he said "is everything okay guys?" , "who are you" Prince replied, He said " I'm Eric, I live next to this town, near the palace", "Oh Great, we are also going to the palace" Price said. They started talking and Brice explained him the whole incident, he said don't worry , I know how to ride the chariot , I'll drop you guys. Suddenly Brice saw Sophie, she was unconscious.

They were about to reach the palace and it started raining heavily. Brice said "Oh My God! Really", "what happened?" Eric asked, Brice said , " I'm with my girlfriend she has probably fainted out of fear and it has to rain today only". Erick offered them to stay at his house which was just a minute away . Brice agreed.

As soon as they reached Eric's home they tied the chariot in the shade. Erick's house was not well maintained, he didn't had many furniture in his house. Brice carried Sophie in his arms and took her inside the house. As soon as Eric saw Sophie, he couldn't move his eyes from her , but he left the room because of Brice. He just had a mattress upstairs , Brice carried Sophie upstairs and gently placed her on the mattress. He came downstairs and Eric asked " I'm having tea, will you?", "sure" Brice replied . They were having a tea downstairs , while it was raining heavily outside . Eric asked " So you work in the Royal Palace?". Brice didn't told him that he was Prince ,"well, yeah I just help with daily chores" he replied . Eric asked ,"have you ever met anyone from the royal family","well, a few times" Brice replied. The conversation kept on going and Brice started to fall asleep. Eric said, " I also have a bed sheet , if it helps" ,
"that would be helpful , but do you have something for yourself ?" Brice asked, "I'll manage" Eric replied.

At night it became cold and dark so Erick took his shawl and slept next to the prince. He was feeling tired but he couldn't sleep because of Sophie . He started to like her . He thought of going upstairs and just have a glance of her . He woke up in the middle of the night and quietly started walking towards Sophie . While climbing the stairs he could smell the essence of rose , he started feeling pain in his heart because of excitement . As soon as he reached the door and opened it , She was quietly sleeping in the heavy rain , Her skin was shining like moon and her rose fragrance was all around the room . Eric never saw such a beautiful girl ever in his life . She was more beautiful than his imaginations . He fell in love with the beautiful young lady.

The night passed by , in the morning a group of people, from the palace came to Eric's house looking for the Prince . Brice and Sophie were ready to go , and Eric was shocked to see that Brice was the Prince himself . Eric said " I am really sorry your highness , I didn't knew you were the Prince". His ears turned red as soon as he saw Sophie . She was clueless about the whole situation . Brice said , " Thankyou for helping us , see you soon ". Prince and Sophie left in the royal chariot and Eric was feeling sad because he knew he can never get Sophie, "she will be the Queen and I am just a regular guy , I should not even think about her". He went back to the room and he could smell the rose fragrance that reminded him of Sophie. He tried a lot but he could not get her out of his mind.
