PROSHIPPERS!!
Okay so this might be random but It needs to be ranted about. First off though.

Okay. Proshipping is possibly the one thing everyone hates. Let me explain what proshipping is for those who do not know what it is. A proshipper is someone who supports romantic pairings that are considered problematic, such as those with abusive dynamics, incest, or harmful age gaps. Proshippers may also support creating fanworks based on these pairings. The term "problematic" can also refer to shipping real people. No matter what Fandom you are in, proshipping will definitely be there. An example of proshipping could be Pinecest (Mabel x Dipper, incest), Deancest (incest between the brothers in supernatural, I forgot their names.), etc. Now the reasons for proshipping is different between each other. Some proshippers do it due to trauma in their pasts, others do it for fun since it does not affect reality. I would like to say that I was once a proshipper back when I was 8-9 (around the undertale era was when it started), I have fully recovered from being one of those. I stopped around the age of 10. I became a proshipper due to sexual trauma I had at a young age. I did not know it was wrong in the past but now I do and I have fully changed from that person I was before. I was also influenced by a close friend of mine who I am no longer friends with. That and the fact that I had a terrible mental state at that age caused me to start proshipping. But I stopped when I realized it didn't help me with my trauma. I found other coping mechanisms that helped me better myself. I also think that most proshippers are young children who were groomed/influenced to think proshipping is okay when it is not. Though this is only what I think, I hope that proshippers realize how it can negatively affect them so they can get the help they deserve. Okay so rant over. Do be mindful of what you say.
