Hinata was in the school cafeteria, laughing and enjoying a coffee with Emma. Suddenly, she noticed that Takemichi was talking to a new girl, an attractive student who had recently arrived. The girl was laughing at his jokes, getting a little closer than Hinata considered appropriate.
Hinata felt a knot in her stomach. As she watched Takemichi smile at the girl, her hands began to shake a little. She forced herself to smile, but she couldn't help but feel insecure.
"Do you think Takemichi gets along well with her?" Emma asked, noticing the change in her friend's face.
Hinata looked away, trying to hide her discomfort. "I don't know... it just seems like he's too close," she murmured, feeling the jealousy start to take over her.
Suddenly, Takemichi approached the table, with a big smile on his face. "Hello, girls! I was talking to Kaori. She's new here and...* He stopped when he saw Hinata's expression.
Takemichi: "Are you okay, Hina? You look a little pale."
Hinata forced a smile, but her voice trembled a little. "Yes, I'm fine. Just... I was surprised to see you so comfortable with her."
Takemichi frowned, not fully understanding Hinata's mood change. The new girl approached, smiling flirtatiously. "Hello! Takemichi was telling me about the school clubs and other things. Takemichi-kun is very fun."
Hinata felt her heart race, discomfort turning into anger. "Oh? As fun as to forget about me, your...your...?" she said, unable to help herself. But she held back the last word for herself and didn't finish the sentence.
Takemichi looked at her surprised, not knowing how to react. "Hina, it's not like that...."
Emma, seeing the tension, decided to intervene. "Girls, why don't we all sit together? That way we can get to know each other better."
But Hinata was already too tired. She got up abruptly, leaving her half-finished coffee. "No, it's not necessary. I'm busy so I'll leave," she said, before leaving the cafeteria, her face flushed with the frustration she felt at that moment.
Takemichi followed her, feeling that something was wrong. As they walked away, the new girl looked at him, confused and somewhat disappointed.
Kaori: "What happened to her?"
Takemichi: "I don't know, but I have to talk to her." he said, leaving the conversation behind and running after Hinata, unaware that he had left a spark of discomfort in the air.
Hinata left the cafeteria, feeling the frustration envelop her. She was thinking about why Takemichi didn't realize what she had felt. She headed to the schoolyard, where the sun was shining and the students were socializing. There, she met a group of boys, including one who had caught her attention before, a boy named Yuuto. With a charming smile, he approached her.
Yuuto: "Hello, Hinata. I didn't know you were here. Would you like to join us to talk and everything?"
Hinata, remembering what had happened in the cafeteria, decided to distract herself a little. She smiled and accepted the proposal. She laughed at Yuuto's occurrences, enjoying the moment as he got closer and closer.
Meanwhile, a few meters away, Takemichi watched the scene. His heart began to beat hard as he saw Hinata smile and laugh with another boy. The discomfort turned into intense jealousy. Without thinking, he quickly headed towards them.
When he arrived, he couldn't contain the anger that bubbled inside him. Without hesitation, he grabbed Hinata by the waist and pulled her towards him, getting so close that their faces almost touched.
Takemichi: "What are you doing?" he asked, his voice firm and full of jealousy.
Hinata was surprised, but inside, she enjoyed his reaction. Without giving her time to respond, Takemichi passionately kissed her, leaving Hinata breathless.
When they finally separated, Hinata looked at Takemichi, her eyes full of surprise and joy. But then, Takemichi turned to Yuuto, who was watching the scene with wide eyes.
Takemichi: "She's mine, got it?" he said with a threatening voice, making it clear that there was no room for competition.
Yuuto, not knowing what to say, raised his hands in surrender and walked away, leaving the couple alone. Hinata, still with a blushing face, smiled as she looked at Takemichi.
Hinata: "Wow, I didn't know you had such a protective side." she said with a cute little smile
Takemichi smiled, although he could still feel the adrenaline running through his veins. "I can't help it. I don't want anyone to take you away from me," he said a little embarrassed.
Hinata felt warm inside upon hearing that. "So, does it bother you to see me with other guys?" she asked, slightly challenging him. Takemichi: "Only if I know their intentions," he said, gently stroking her cheek. Hinata smiled, feeling her heart beat strongly as she got to know this side of Takemichi. They both looked into each other's eyes, letting the connection they shared speak more than words. The sun shone on them, while the world around them faded, only existing for each other.
After everything that happened earlier, Hinata felt there was a weight on her chest that needed to be released. As they walked back to the cafeteria, she decided it was time to be honest. Hinata: "Takemichi, I have to tell you something." She glanced at him, feeling nervousness invade her. "I felt hurt seeing you with the new girl. She was flirting with you, and I couldn't help but look at her and realize her intentions...." Takemichi stopped and looked at her seriously. "I'm sorry, Hina. I don't want you to feel like this. I didn't realize the way she was approaching me." Hinata smiled slightly, feeling his words were sincere. "I just want you to know how I feel. I don't want you to think I'm insecure, but I can't help it." They continued talking as they entered the cafeteria. However, upon arrival, the atmosphere became tense. Kaori continued flirting with Takemichi, laughing at anything and getting closer and closer. Hinata felt the knot in her stomach return. But this time, Takemichi, noticing Hinata's discomfort, firmly took her by the waist and sat her on his lap. The gesture surprised everyone in the cafeteria. Takemichi began to gently kiss Hinata's neck, leaving everyone gaping and murmuring among themselves. Kaori's gaze turned cold, as she watched Takemichi show his affection so openly. Kaori: "What are you doing, Takemichi-kun?" she said, trying to keep her composure, Takemichi looked up, his expression defiant. "She is my girlfriend, Kaori didn't you know? And please don't approach me from today I don't want to make my dear Hina feel bad." His words resonated in the cafeteria, making the murmur grow even more. Hinata, feeling the heat of attention on her, smiled, feeling safe in Takemichi's arms. "Thank you.... my love," she whispered, enjoying the intensity of the moment. While the people in the cafeteria continued whispering, Takemichi continued kissing her neck, completely ignoring Kaori. Kaori's jealous gaze could not hide her frustration, as Hinata and Takemichi immersed themselves in their little world, forgetting the rest.
A week has passed since that incident in the cafeteria and every time Hinata is alone, Kaori finds a way to threaten Hina to break up with Takemichi but Hinata refuses and the aggressions from her group towards Hinata get stronger every day.
