The Secret Princesses

Chapter 3

Adriens P.O.V

     It was 8:55 and River and Mari wern't here yet. Just then a limo pulled up and we all wondered who it could be. We could hear people laughing and singing. Just then the door opened and we couldn't believe our eyes. Marinette, River, KAGAMI, and LUKA stepped out. I was jealous that Luka got to ride with Mari, but why the hell is he and kagami here? And why the fucking hell do they have a limo!

     A:"Erm, why is Luka and kagami here?" I asked politely.

     K:"Because the Emporer and Emporer invited us as well. My family is well known in China and I asked for a plus one." she said. Mari and River started at her in confusion but seemingly shrugged it off. Mari whispered something to kagami then to River. Mari then walked over to me.

     M:"Adrien...I need to talk to you..." she said not looking at me.

     A:"What is it Mari?" she pulled me out of earshot of the class.

     M:"I have to tell you something but you can't tell the rest of the class." she said, her voice laced with guilt.

     A:"Mari? What's wrong?" I asked concerned.

     M: She took a deep breath. "Adrien, I am secretly your cousin, eldest daughter of the eldest of the royal siblings of England, heir to the English throne as well as the Chinese throne. We...we can not date for any longer because we are cousins." she choked out. I stared at her in disbelief. But the look on her face, the guilt in her eyes, told me she was telling the truth. "I understand if your heart broken, or never want to talk to me again, but once I realized, I knew I couldn't lead you on. I knew I had to break up with you as soon as possible, before my 17th birthday where I am expected to announce my future king...I am sorry to have replaced you so fast..." she said with guilt.

     A:"Wha- you mean we're family? And that your a queen to be?" I couldn't believe it! My princess was actually a princess!

     M:"Yes...that's what I am saying. At least I'm not alone...Kagami has to go through this as well." she said seemingly not thinking.

     A:"What do you mean?"

     M:"Damn," She cursed herself. "See, I have two sisters, triplets, Kagami, and River. Kagami's name is really Kathlyn and rivers is actually jade. I didn't want to change my name. We are also known as Mei-ying, kei-ying, and jei-ying. We have two younger siblings who are twins, but I'm sure you know about them right? Fei-ying and Mathew. Well, Fei is Freya but likes being called Fei, and Mathew is also known as Chen-ying but prefers being called Mathew. And since my 17th birthday is in five months I can either be with someone I love or I have to meet a whole bunch of princes, but since I also love Luka...Luka will be my king. I'm so sorry for moving on as quick as I did. I didn't even wait to break up with you before asking Luka to be my king." she said guiltily.

     A:"Mari, look at me. Its okay. I understand. You are doing your best and I love that. You are beautiful and amazing just the way you are. You'll make a wonderful Queen and I'm happy for Luka, even if I want to be were he is right now, I am still happy for you both. Are we going to announce our break-up to the class or keep it between us?"

    M: She smiled brightly. "I think we should tell them...and in a month me and Luka can act like a couple. Thank you Adrien, for being as understanding as you are. I'm sure one day you'll find love, and when you do, they'll be the luckiest girl in the world." she said smiling.

Mari P.O.V

      Whew. I told him! And he understands! He really would make a good king but now, he can never be my king, but he would make a great one for sure. We walk over to the class, not hand in hand. We both had serious looks on our faces. It was almost time to board the plane and mom, dad, and I had a bit of a surprise, but no one knew it was from me.
