Triton woke up and looked around the room. He scanned every surface and corner, making sure nothing was out of place.

He got up and went to the window, only to realize that it was bolted shut.

He looked around again to see if he could use anything to unbolt the window or break it.

He couldn't see anything out in the open, so he decided to search around the room for anything useful.

Triton only hoped he could find something useful to get him out of this creepy house.

After searching the room and finding nothing, he started to think of another way to break the window.

Fuck it, he might as well just use his hands to get out of here, he thought.

Triton went back to the window and before he could even hit it, he felt a hand on his shoulder.

This made him jump and quickly look behind him, only to see that blue man again.

"Breakfast is ready, and are you ready to meet your siblings?" Neptune asked.

"I—uh, yeah, I guess I'm ready." Triton answered.

He wasn't going to lie—this guy named "Neptune" was pretty scary.

Of course, he wasn't going to tell anyone about it, but he honestly thought the man already knew.

Neptune started walking out of the room with Triton following behind.

They entered the hallway, then soon descended down the stairs.

This is when Triton realized that his arms were bandaged. "Huh, guess he bandaged it when I was asleep," he thought.

Soon, they entered the room, and immediately Triton was bombarded by children all around him.

"Woah, who is he?" one of the children asked.

"Oh! This is Triton, your big brother!" Neptune answered.

"Triton, they are your siblings: Proteus, Sao, Galatea, Larissa, Thalassa, Hippocamp, Neso, Halimede, Despina, Naiad, Nereid, Psamathe, aaaand Laomedeia!"

Triton was shocked; he didn't know how the guy could say their names so quickly, let alone remember which names went to whom.

Triton wanted to scream, attack, run—just something that would help him escape.

But after what happened last night, he knew it would be useless to even try.

"I don't think I can remember all of their names," Triton spoke honestly.

"No worries! Your siblings and I will help you," Neptune replied rather quickly.

The children's cheers could be heard as they celebrated, happy that they now had an older brother.

They pulled Triton to the backyard so they could play games with their older brother.

"Big brother, let's play hide-and-seek!" Sao exclaimed.

"Ugh, no, I don't want to play games with you." Triton sighed, already annoyed with the kids.

This clearly upset them, because they ran to Neptune to complain about Triton not wanting to play with them.

"I'll go talk to him, don't worry. For now, go ahead and play," Neptune said, calming the kids down. He soon made his journey to Triton.

Neptune grabbed him and pulled him inside the house, away from the kids. His emotionless expression scared Triton.

"Why don't you want to play with your siblings?" Neptune asked innocently.

"First of all, they are not my siblings. Secondly, I don't want to play their stupid childish games," Triton replied angrily.

He didn't want to hang out with them, he didn’t want to be here.

"Go play with them. It'll be nice for you guys to bond," Neptune said.
"I said-"
"Go. Play. Now," Neptune interrupted, annoyance evident in his voice.

It was clear that this was a demand, not a question. Triton, not wanting to anger the man, agreed reluctantly.

"F-fine."
"Can we play hide-and-seek now?" Proteus questioned, eager to play.

"Yeah, yeah, sure, whatever," Triton grumbled.

The little ones cheered, and Triton was chosen to be the seeker. Soon, the game commenced.

It was only then that he realized that this was his chance for freedom.

Once the others had hidden, Triton looked around and found a gate. He immediately ran to it and saw a lock on the gate.

He began to search for something that could help him break the lock.

He found a rock and began to hit the lock repeatedly, unaware of the noise he was making.

Before he could hit the lock again, someone grabbed his hand.

"I thought I gave you enough warnings, but I guess not," Neptune said darkly.

He let go of Triton's hand, grabbed his hair, and dragged him away.

"LET GO LET GO!!! GO FUCK YOURSELF AHH, YOU BASTARD!" Triton shouted in pain, struggling to break free from Neptune's grip.

They got to Triton's room, and Neptune shoved him onto a chair.

"Don't move; if you do, it will only be worse for you," Neptune warned him before walking out of the room.

Neptune went outside to look for his children and soon found them all.

"Dad, where is Triton?" Larissa asked sadly.
"He's grounded."
"Why?"
"Unfortunately, he broke the rules, so I had to ground him."
"When will he be ungrounded?"
"Tomorrow. Go ahead and continue playing. I have to talk to your brother."
"Okayyy," Larissa pouted slightly. She wanted to play with her older brother but unfortunately couldn't.

The day soon flew by, and the little ones ate dinner and went to sleep.

Neptune soon went to Triton's room to "talk" to him.

Sorry I didn’t publish a chapter for so long. I literally had no ideas at all; my brain was empty. I was also focusing on school, so I wasn’t paying too much attention to this.
