I was slowly walking up and down the school playground. I had been playing tennis and I was very tired. That is why I was taking long for sometime.
All of a sudden, something blocked my way. I looked in front. It was Richard. " Take care, sis" he said and pushed away a football that was coming at me at a high speed. Then he immediately ran away to join his friends.
" Wow! How did he even do that? The ball was coming at such a speed! " exclaimed Xia, suddenly popping up behind me.
" I don't know", I murmured, starring in amazement in the direction. Richard had run away.
" Did you hear the discussion?" , asked Xia, changing the topic to one of her favourites.
" The discussion of the seniors regarding the incident that happened in last year's play ?"
" Yes ."
" Yes, I heard."
" What do you think? "
" It scares me, " I replied, looking down.
There occured a strange incident that in last year's play. There was a serious discussion regarding how to blow winds on the stage for a particular scene. In that scene, Xia was walking on the stage with a full moon light and winds were required to blow her hair and big gown. Various suggestions came up.
" We can use fans!"
" Yeah, stand fans are a good option!"
" Oh, yeah? And where will you place then? "
" How will you provide electricity to them? "
" How about a hand fan? "
" A hand fan! A hand fan can barely even cool the person who is using it!"
" Umm, does no one over here own a private helicopter? Then we can actually tell that person to hover above. It will create winds..."
" Are you crazy? It's a closed auditorium!"
" Now we are only left with one option.."
" What? "
" Let us all pray to God so that he comes in one of our dreams and tell us some way."
Eventually,  the thought was dropped,  thoughts were casted on how to make the costumes,  cardboards and lights more appealing to the audience.
Now, before I describe the incident that occurred, let me just briefly describe the scenario first.
At the backstage, were me and the violin player. He was three years older than me and his name was Rayan. Somehow, my brothers felt too uncomfortable to leave me at the backstage with that boy, but they had no choice because everyone of them had got roles to play. Moreover, the directors demanded that there should be no one on the backstage except those who are playing the music. I was singing the song that would appear to be sung by Xia, the princess. The violin player would play the violin to make it a romantic music.
However, John told the director that he would stand at the backstage to make sure that the music is played uninterrupted. The directors agreed.
On the stage, cardboards that have been prepared for a long time were placed. The cardboards gave the effect of the place. There was a very dim light on the stage. This light had to be adjusted very carefully,  because the whole of the audience must be clearly be able to see what was happening on the stage and at the same time, it must look like a dark night with a full moon.
As Xia approached the stage looking above, Rayan started to play the violin. This was over here that we wished for the winds. Many of our hearts sank in dismay. However, to our surprise, there was actually a mild wind blowing and Xia's hair started to blow.
The audience thought that it was one of our brilliant ideas, but as it was, even we were completely stunned.
I felt as if someone was whistling behind me. I turned back and looked up. John was slowly blowing winds with his mouth, as if trying to cool a hot cup of tea.
