Calcium hypophosphite, also known as hypophosphorous acid, is a white, crystalline, water-soluble inorganic compound with the molecular formula Ca(H2PO2)2. It has a molar mass of 170.05 g/mol. Calcium hypophosphite can be produced by neutralizing hypophosphite and slaked lime, or by using a synthetic method with lime and yellow phosphorus.
