Just like Kim rok soo, Cale henituse also lost his parents near the age of 8. Cale henituse, the only child of the wealthy count of northeast, count Deruth henituse, was a very cute and beautiful child. He was very innocent and obedient too but right now he was unwilling to listen to anything anybody said to him.

A few days ago his mother had told him that she was going to Harris village for a small trip in a while, he had an ominous feeling about it which he could not discern. He wondered why his mother had to go to a secluded village which was just a part of their territory. The day before her departure he could not sleep the whole night thinking about his mother's departure the coming morning.

Jour despite her young son's constant wailings the next morning did not cancel her visit and just told him sweet nothings in a whisper as she kissed head and cheeks to calm him down. She spoke when she had put him to sleep and was about to leave "I'm very sorry my sweet child but mom has to go or else the future that i predicted will definitely come true. Please forgive mom, I love you my dear." She finally left his room after placing one last kiss on his forehead. she left the mansion and the child whose fate she wish she could have changed for the better before all those tragedies happen to him but she couldn't so she choose the second option- to reduce his tragedies, but for that she had to sacrifice something, maybe herself, so she did it for her baby.

That day Jour left and did not come back, knights were sent out to search for her, they came back near midnight with a bloodied countess. Her carriage had tripped over in the storm on her way back, she was injured heavily even though her attendants were only unconscious with some minor injuries. She was immediately taken for treatment but it was all futile. Jour, the countess, died a day after early morning. Everybody believed that it was all due to her weak constitution but Deruth blamed his child for that and her death. He believed that if he had not been born his wife would have been with him right now. Nobody knew that the red head had snuck out the night prier to meet his mother as he was not allowed to, nobody except Ron, his trusted butler who was loyal to his mother and him and not his father. Ron looked at him as he went inside his mother's room and made sure nobody would know about his disappearance.

As Cale entered the room he saw his mother staring at the ceiling in a daze. "Mother" he quitely whispered to gain his mother's attention. "Cale" replied his mother, "what are you doing here dear? I'm sure your father told you not to enter." "He did but I really wanted to see you, I was so worried and--" He couldn't finish speaking as his mother pulled him in a hug "I missed you too sweetie." and that was all it took for his courage to break and he started shedding the tears witch were burning his eyes from the moment he heard the news about his mom, "Don't cry my child, calm down." said his mother soothing him. After he calmed down his mother sat him down and started talking " Cale, I know it's hard but please please try to understand, I won't be here for long and I want to warn you about a few things. Will you listen to me?" "Of course mom." his mother smiled sadly and told him "Dear it's going to be tough from now on and you need to know that you can trust Ron and his son." "Ok mom." Just as nobody knew that Cale went to see his mom in her room their conversation was also a secret between just them two too.

Ron, the person Jour said was trustworthy became the witness to the start of his precious young master's tragedies. He witnessed it all and swallowed his tears to help him, he witnessed as he snuck inside his mother's room to talk to her and cry in her embrace, as he comforted his father when she died, as his father changed to a rotten noble, as his father neglected and deprived the child of his love and care, he witnessed as he was called such vulgar names by the so called aristocrat for not crying at his mother's funeral, as his puppy young master cried in his room while burying his face in the pillows and he also witnessed how the sweet and innocent little boy changed after all of that happened and his father introduced his soon to be step-mother a day before their marriage and even before his mother's first death anniversary.
