Calm Before the Storm

It was a normal day, quite like the others. Punz was chasing around his cousin Antonio with a wooden sword he had made. While this little Punz was a crowned prince, he was very fascinated with violence of any sort. The kid was a fighter. 

"Punz! Antonioo!" Someone called out, searching for the two boys and soon they were spotted. It was the nurse, she looked after the two while their parents were off doing very important business work, stuff to do with the kingdoms and the other surrounding planets. It all bored Punz, he was never interested in being a king, he wanted to fight and be out there protecting his people not lazing around on a throne all day, demanding this and that. 

A little boy came around the corner, he was a few years younger than the two, just barely able to walk. It was Purpled, Punz's younger brother. They ran over to the two, Punz grabbing onto Purpled and pulling him into a hug, proceeding to look up at the nurse.

"What do you need nurse?" He was respectful, he treated her like she was his mother, which she basically was. Since Punz was born this nurse has been looking after him. 

"Oh nothing much dear, we were coming to check up on you. Is there anything you need? Food, Water?" She bent down to his level, ruffling his hair then smiling at him. Punz shook his head in response, "We don't need anything right now, but thank you for offering." He tilted his head down, a head bow for respect and manners. He then turned to Antonio, jabbing him lightly with the sword before running back into the grassy area. 

Punz's manners, vocabulary, and actions are all above average for his age, if he isn't out in the fields messing around with Antonio or playing with Purpled he spends most of his time in the library, studying to become an amazing king. He loves sitting down and reading, he would do it all night if there weren't strict rules he had to follow. Anything to do with his health and wellbeing was controlled by his father, he wasn't allowed up late unless he went to meetings with the adults, or there were special events, he had to be up at a certain time every morning, being ready and downstairs quickly. These rules were never questioned by the boy, he thought it was a normal thing to happen, and he wanted to make his father proud, so following these rules was a must.

TIMESKIP. 4:00PM.

The sky started to get dark and the boys knew that it was time to go back inside, they grabbed each others hand then ran in, Punz navigating through the long and confusing castle halls until they got to their destination; the dining room. The two sat down in their seats, the king staring at them, a frown on his face.

"Punz. Antonio." His voice was low, sounding like a slight growl. "What is all that filth on you. This isn't how young royals should be, especially you Punz, you're crowned prince!" His voice had suddenly gotten louder, everyone around the table freezing up and staring between the three. The king pointed to the door, "You two aren't eating until you look respectable enough!" 

The two stared at each other before running out, racing to the bathroom. They each had a shower and freshened up, staring into a full body mirror. "Why would he do that." Punz muttered, fixing his tie and hair. 
"I don't know." Antonio responded, "but I don't really want to go back down there. I feel like we'll get even more embarrassed.." Punz slowly turned to him, his frown turning to a soft smile, "then we don't have to Toni, let's stay up here and do our own thing." 

The boys both skipped out on dinner that night, little did they know that hell was going to break loose in the middle of the night. Punz didn't know that he was never going to see his mother or father ever again. His last memory being his father screaming at him for being dirty. They didn't know they were going to be seperated.

Weeeeeelll that's the end of the first chapter and it's 1AM... just like the old times. 

Hopefully I am going to be able to write more and not have this one chapter then not progress this story. ENOY ;3
