AUTHOR'S POV.

One thing he has always fascinated about her is, taking her out on dates. Either it's a normal coffee date or a hangout plan. He loves her around him. He loves how she beams when get known to know new and surreal places. The last time they were out for a date, Suvansh took her for Birdwatching at the Central Park. One thing he knows about her is, she likes visiting calm places; small coffee shops, library, book store, lakes, garden, strolling alongside on roads, buying demure little things from the stalls passing by and last but not the least; late night long drives. She'll drag him out of his study for long drives whenever she fails to sleep. And ends up eventually sleeping in the car seat that Suvansh has to carry her back to their bedroom.

For one moment, he actually thought she did it intentionally so that she could be in his arms. But then, who is he talking about; his wife, the one who wouldn't care whether he's in between his virtual seminars or on a phone call. She wants his attention, she gets it. She wants to cling in his arms, she does it.

Not that he complains. He would sulk worse than a toddler if she stopped that. He knows much she is affectionate towards him. And last, her love language is physical affection. Loving her was not a task for him. It was an alluring and irresistible feeling that took birth within him and would stay alive even if he died.

His love won't!

Just like now, sitting in one corner of this cosy little library resided at the corner of the alley near Central Park. The owner and Shurisha have known each other for the last month. During her vacations, her husband's maximum time was snatched by his meetings, articles, seminars, and programme trips he has been invited to in bangkok, Thailand. And to her luck, she came across this library one random day when she was out shopping. And has been visiting here whenever he is busy.
The moment the couple stood in front of the library the board sign on the door read

‘Closed’.

“It's closed.” She mumbles, puckering out her lower lip in disappointment. Suvansh tugged her closer, circuiting his arm around her shoulder. “It's okay! Let's go somewhere else.” He jinxed her and they were back on their way out of the alley, when Shurisha heard someone calling her name. Turning her head, she saw Aunt Jenna on the balcony of the second floor of the library. Her eyes twinkled with glee at her sight, clutching Suvansh's hand she dragged him back towards the library and after a wait of five minutes, Aunt Jenna opened the locked door, giving room for the couple to enter inside the library.

“It was closed?”
Shurisha quired, leaving Suvansh's side and heading towards the bookshelf.

“It was,” Aunt Jenna nodded. Suvansh came in her sight and they both exchanged greetings. “But it was your birthday and you told me you might come here, I was waiting for you.” keeping the novel back on the shelf. Shurisha turns on her heels, looking at her Aunt Jenna with a wide smile beaming on her face.
