Biddy walked up to the Satis House, the house rotting beneath her feet as she walked with care, her tread light. She entered without asking, as she knew she was never unwanted in that house. Miss Havisham wanted to reek revenge on the male sex after all. After Pip had left, she had brought company to Miss Havisham, who soon introduced her to Estella. When Biddy laid her eye upon Estella, she realized Pip's feelings... Estella was beautiful. All Biddy had ever wanted could be seen in Estella's reflection. She was beautiful, and fair.. and oddly, never ridiculed Biddy for her commonness. So that day, Biddy went on to betray Pip, and Joe, and herself in many ways.
That day she took Estella's hand, and kissed it as if Estella were the one, good thing in Biddy's life. Estella felt a slight jump in her heartless chest, butterflies arising in her stomach. As her eyes met Estella's, she couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy mixed with admiration. Estella, with her ethereal beauty and effortless grace, embodied everything Biddy had ever longed for a love that transcended societal boundaries. Biddy's lip had a slight quiver in it, she couldn't help thinking what she was doing was wrong. The loyalty she had sworn to Pip and Joe, all that no longer mattered. They seemed insignificant in comparison to the allure of Estella's world. With a trembling hand, she reached out and clasped Estella's delicate fingers, sealing her fate with a kiss. Estella pulled away quick and ran off, pressing a finger to her lips, breathing heavily as her heart welled with admiration.
Estella and Biddy soon find themselves in the garden of Satis House, where they can speak and feel without judgement. Biddy laid her head upon Estella's chest. Estella found herself, surprised by the sudden intimacy, but then gently wrapped her arms around Biddy, holding her close. She could feel Biddy's warmth against her chest, sighing and breathing in Biddy's warmth. Estella held her tight, as Biddy spoke, "I wanted to tell you I love you." Estella's heart skipped a beat at Biddy's confession, her breath catching in her throat. She couldn't form words, all she could do was feel her heart pounding. "I love you too.." As cliche as it may have been, Estella felt her cold heart melting and beating and filling with all this empathy, love, and joy. Estella meets Biddy's gaze, her heart pounding in her chest. "I love you, Biddy. More than I ever thought possible." Estella thought she was a lost cause, never meant to be loved... yet in Biddy's embrace, she finds a sense of belonging she had never dared to hope for. "I love you so much." Estella continued. Biddy, at a loss of words, kisses down Estella's neck, wanting Estella to feel the love Biddy feels. Estella shivers slightly at the touch of Biddy's lips against her neck. She tilts her head slightly, offering Biddy better access, her breath quickening as she savors the intimacy of the moment. In this moment, surrounded by the scent of damp grass and the soft rustle of leaves, she feels truly alive, for once in her cold existence.
The next morning as the sun gently lights the garden, Estella stirs from her sleep, she gently opens her eyes, and finds herself still wrapped in Biddy's arms, their bodies pressed close together. Biddy had already awoken, brushing Estella's hair with her soft, delicate fingers. Once Estella fully wakes, she feels a sense of warmth enveloping her, from Biddy's tender touch. With a contented sigh, she turns her head to meet Biddy's gaze, finding a soft smile playing on her lips. "I could stay like this forever," Biddy whispers, her voice as soft as the first day she met Estella.
