"Forgive and forget,
I know my age and I act like it."
All American bitch by Olivia Rodrigo

"I'm like so fucking excited." Star announced as she poked at her salad. "Like what am I going to wear?"

Maddie just shrugged her shoulders, not wanting to respond, exhausted after gym class.

"I'm thinking we all wear dresses. I'm pretty sure Katrina will let us borrow some of hers. She wouldn't want us to look shitty."

Amy nodded, "She said to come over after school and that she would get us ready."

Star clapped her hands, "Great, I'm thinking tight, lower cut. For Mads, dress with sleeves and for you Ams, sleeveless."

Maddie shook her head, finally speaking up. "No dresses for me, jeans and a shirt work."

Star cocked her head, staring at the girl. "Why not?"

"I just don't like how I look in them and people are gonna say stuff."

Star rolled her eyes, wrapping her arm around the girl pulling Maddie into her. "If people cared what people thought about them, they wouldn't leave the house."

"Whatever," Maddie muttered out, slipping out of the girls grasp.

"Okay, back to this party. I wanna get a girl and Alyssa Neilson is looking pretty good, how am I gonna do that Amy?"

Amy raised her eyebrows, staring at the girl confused. "Why the fuck am I supposed to have a plan?"

"I don't know Amy. Your dad is English, about five of you manage to colonize half the fucking planet, so I figured you'd have something up your skirt to help me."

"Man, fuck off." Amy replied, slumping over in the booth.

"Damn, Amy. Looking good." Koosh called out to the girl as he and Benj strolled up.

"What did I say about talking to me or them?"

"You three ladies still coming to my party tonight?" Koosh said, ignoring Amy.

"Of course, why wouldn't we." Maddie snapped back, not really liking the way the boy was talking.

Amy let her eyes glance over at the curly haired boy, checking him out shyly. A small smile on her face as she met the boys eyes, it quickly falling when he immediately glanced away.
