Chapter 10 has been edited after seeing some comments on the great amount of typos, I also added some content to the end of the story, so go check that out~

Though, when I started I did tell y'all I wouldn't be editing the chapters much, but due to my lack of time I am writing right before bed more often than not (even right now), so I apologise some chapters may be more untelligable than others, but I will make sure to edit at least those, so do always point those mistakes out so I can go back to fix them, thanks🥰

....

After what seemed like a whole hour, the screen started playing again without any announcement or call. Many began to go back to their seats as the scene continued from where they had left off.

Anyways, creatures that ate blood and flesh were usually low in level, such as walking corpses. Only the more refined high-level monsters or ghosts were capable of eating and digesting souls. This one ate seven at once-no wonder so many clans had gathered here. Since the prey was by no means a trivial matter, it was inevitable for the Compasses of Evil to make mistakes.

"Oh..." many younger disciples sounded in unision and some even began to search for ink and paper to write this down.

"What's the point of writing, you won't have time to look at it during a night-hunt" spoke Wei Wuxian hearing the ruckus.

He didn't look back at the boys who spoke in disarray, instead he had his arms crossed as he looked forward at the screen with a serious expression from where he still sat between the twin jades.

Soon the girls also began to comment on their own interests, not only was this young master Wei handsome, he is also quite wise!

Wei WuXian reined in the rope and hopped off the donkey's back, holding the apple, which had been ahead of it for the whole journey, in front of its mouth, "One bite. One bite only... Hmph, are you trying to eat my whole hand with that bite of yours?"

Laughter filled the hall again, with the previous interaction and the break they got, people felt less tense now, laughing and talking comfortably again.

He ate a few bites from the other side of the apple, and stuffed it back into the donkey's mouth, pondering upon how he came down to the point of sharing an apple with a donkey, when, suddenly, someone bumped into his back. He turned around to see a girl. Although she bumped into him, she didn't acknowledge him at all. Her eyes were dull and she had a smile on her face, staring into the distance without blinking.

Wei WuXian followed her gaze, and saw the dense mountaintop of Dafan Mountain.

All of a sudden, the girl started dancing in front of him without saying anything.

"What's going on?"

"Who even is that girl?"

"Her dancing looks so- pft-" hearing the disciple cracking up, many younger cultivators began to laugh as well.

Wuxian sighed, arms still crossed, "this people really can't pay attention.." he mumbled shaking his head not realising he'd said that out loud.

Hearing him, the twin jades looked at him before looking at each other, neither said a thing.

The dance was wild, with her arms flinging about savagely. Wei WuXian was watching the performance with keen pleasure when a woman ran over, lifting her dress slightly. She embraced the girl and cried, "A-Yan, let's go back, let's go back!"
