I roll to the other side of the bed expecting feel Sophie's warmth but I was meant with a cold floor since I fell off the bed.
I immediately hailed Grady and told him Sophie was nowhere to be found. My breath caught as I found a note by Sophie.
It read.
Keefe I don't wanna lose you and Ellie again so please just hear me out. I sacrificed myself. Please know that I'll always love you forever. You are my family and family comes first. -Sophie
I rushed to the cave where the neverseen usually communicate. I saw my little girl Ellie wailing on the rock hard stone.
I pick her up gently. I realize that a note was there to. It read
I have your precious moonlark or should I say phoenix. Nothing you can do to save Sophie now or I must say Lyra now. So just give up. We will rise from the ashes. We will take control of the entire world! -Gisela
I grabbed the note too. I then light leaped to Elwin to heal Ellie then light leaped to Everglen calling an emergency meeting.
"What's the meaning of this!" Emery shouts as he stood at the entrance to Everglen. I showed him both notes.
I then showed both notes to everyone else. They all had watery eyes and clenched fists. "What do you think they meant by Phoenix and Lyra?" Linh asked.
"I think they ment that they are going to wipe Sophie's memories of us and twist them so she thinks that her name is Lyra and she is project Phoenix and we are the bad guys or maybe even worse." Mr.Forkle says....
"We'll we need a plan." I say. "It's a little to late for that." A sickening voice says....
