Hi, my name is Robert Yorkshire, and I'm 21. I'm a responsible, hardworking, kindhearted person – or at least I like to think so. Also, I'm Spiderman. Well, not the original. I'm Spiderman 2.0, but people call me Spiderman. Anyways, I'm going to tell you my story of how I met a good friend of mine – Luke Xavier.

When I was 5, we moved from New Jersey to Banská Bystrica. Yeah, I know, pretty far. But my parents said it was for my own good. In kindergarten, kids wanted to learn my language. In Primary school I was pretty much an outsider, and in Secondary school, I started noticing that my body was changing. I didn't know yet, but it was not in the human kind of sense.

The story begins on my 15th birthday. It was on November 26, 2016, which was Saturday, at around 5 AM. I couldn't sleep. There was too much going on in my head to sleep, and I wasn't even tired. And when I’m not tired after a whole night awake, there is something wrong. I didn't know what, though. I once again tried to sleep, with no success. So, I sat at my table, opened my laptop, put my headphones on, played music, opened Word, and started writing a story. You know, the usual.

I finally started to feel a little sleepy, but when I checked the time, it was already half past 7, which meant I only had one hour until my parents came into my room singing Happy Birthday. ‘So, sleepy today too, huh?’ I told myself as I was making my bed. Then I quietly went to the kitchen and made some breakfast.

Sure enough, at about 8:25, my parents came barging in. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Robert! Happy birthday to you! Yaay!" Meanwhile, I was mentally preparing myself for the day waiting for me. "Thank you, mom and dad! I appreciate it." "Well? Come on! Blow out the candles and wish for something!" mom said with excitement 'Everything comes from confidence, so I'm guessing I wish for confidence.' I thought, but it was rather loud. I didn't know what was happening, but I chose to ignore it. I blew out the candles and ate the muffin. Then all of us went to my favorite cafe – Mňau café. It was a holiday, and on holidays, we usually stay at our friend's house in Košice. It is a fascinating city. There's a lot to do, yet nothing. If something catches your eye, try it out immediately, or you won't see it again. Not that it disappears, you'll overlook it somehow. It happened to me a couple of times, so I know.

When we arrived at the cafe, the first thing we saw were cats. I LOVE cats, and I'm sure my parents do, too. "Oh my! Henry came to greet us with Mr. Serious!" Yes. My mom named these two, and they – unsurprisingly – love her, so there are a few sad meows whenever we leave the cafe. “Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Yorkshire. And to you, too, Robert." The waitress greeted us. "Good morning to you, too, Julia." my father greeted back.

“What would you like to have today?” Julia asked, "Actually, we are here because Robert turned fifteen today, so we'll let him decide what we will have." Dad said as he looked at me. I was surprised at first, but after a while, I said: "Oh, you shouldn't have said that, dad. Now, this cafe will run out of waffles and hot chocolate! Seven portions for each of us!” “Oh no. I’ve awakened a monster!" dad joked. But what none of us knew was that the monster he was joking about would one day save their lives.
