Chapter 3: The Sensei

Shinori had arrived at the classroom to find it barren, he had missed the announcement about who his sensei would be. The classroom was not completely empty though as Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke were still there. So maybe their Jonin was just late. "Did I miss anything?" The white-haired boy asked before taking a seat on top of a desk. "Nope we've been waiting 3 hours and he has not arrived yet," Sakura replied, obviously bored. 

"Very well." He said before laying down on the desk. He took his katana off of his back and placed it on his chest before lying down. The Genin looked up at the ceiling completely unaware of Naruto's trap for their soon-to-be-revealed Sensei. He heard Sakura and Naruto arguing about it for a good 3 seconds, eventually, the pink-haired girl gave in. As he laid on the desk he thought about who their instructor would be. 

Suddenly the door would open, and an eraser fell flat on the white-haired man's head. As he stepped into the classroom he looked around to see Sasuke brooding, Naruto laughing, Sakura fangirling over the prank working, and Shinori lying on his back atop of a desk. "Hmmm, how should I put this?" The man said thinking for a second before answering. "Based on my first impressions, I'd have to say... I hate you, but anyway, let's go." The Jonin said as they all went to a nearby rooftop.

"Now, I'd like you all to tell us a little about yourselves," Kakashi said, a smile could be seen from under his mask. "Like what?" Sakura asked the man. 

"You know, the usual. Favorite thing, what you hate the most, dreams, ambitions, hobbies all of that. Here I'll go first." The jovial man said before thinking for a few seconds. "My name is Kakashi Hatake, I'm the type of person who doesn't feel the need to talk about my likes and dislikes. My dreams are none of your business and I have a lot of hobbies." 

"Hey, he said a lot," Naruto said, Shinori laughed a bit internally. It turns out their sensei had a sense of humor similar to his own. "Now it's your turn," Kakashi said, looking towards Naruto.

"Right! My name is Naruto Uzumaki! What I like is instant cup ramen! What I like even better is when Sensei Iruka treats me to Ichiraku Ramen! I hate the three-minute wait after pouring in the water. My dream is to one day become Hokage! And then the villagers will have to acknowledge my existence!" Naruto yapped. He was thrilled about this and passionate. "My hobbies are pranks and practical jokes I guess." Naruto continued.

"I see, next!" Kakashi said before looking towards Sasuke's direction. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. There are plenty of things I hate, but that doesn't matter because there is almost nothing I like. But what I do have is determination, I plan to restore my clan and there's someone I have sworn to kill." Sasuke said before brooding again. Shinori expected as much from Sasuke. 

"Alright young lady." He said expecting Sakura to speak. "I am Sakura Haruno! My favorite thing is... well it's not a thing. It's a person, a boy and that boy is..." She gave multiple glances towards Sasuke. Her face looked as if it was about to explode whilst Sasuke looked like he was about to throw up. "Uh yeah, my dream.." Sakura would say something inaudible, it was probably about Sasuke. "I hate Naruto!" she would say, giving a quick death stare to the boy, sending shivers down his spine. "My hobbies are..." She was quickly cut off by Kakashi. "Alright finally, my look alike," Kakashi said, referring to how they both had white spiky hair. Kakashi had more hair but Shinori understood. 

"My name is Shinori Yoshidao. I like quiet moments where I can think and times I can train. I dislike unnecessary conflicts that lead to nothing meaningful." The boy said before pausing for a second. He sounded incredibly basic but it was true, maybe he could go more in-depth. "As for my dreams... I want to protect what I have and hone my abilities. I want to bring balance where it's needed the most." 

"Boring..." Naruto said in response to Shinori's response. "Says the one who wants to be Hokage." The white-haired boy said underneath his breath just loud enough for Naruto to hear.
