The sea was a dark, churning mass of waves, roaring and crashing against the sides of the ship. White foam capped each crest, and the sky above was a roiling cauldron of dark, angry storm clouds. The wind howled and lashed against the hull, making it creak and groan in protest. The ship rocked back and forth as it pitched and rode each towering wave. Three figures are huddled together on the deck of the ship, their faces etched with anxiety as they held on to each other, trying to find comfort in the other's presence. The ship rocked violently as it was tossed around by the monstrous waves and the wind howled with an unearthly force. One of the figures, a young man suddenly spoke up.
"𝘐𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘥?" he asked, his voice trembling with fear that he tried oh so hard to surpress.
"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰?" another person asked, this time a woman, her voice shaking with fear. You look out over the churning sea, your eyes wide with terror. "𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸" you replied, your voice quivering.
Logan went silent, his eyes glued to the storm plauged sea. The wind howled like an untamed beast and the rain lashed against the ship with a ferocity that was almost terrifying. The ship pitched and rolled as it rocked from side to side, the hull groaning and creaking in protest.
"𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮." he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
But that was easier said than done as the storm grew fiercer. The sea was now a churning, writhing mass of waves, the crests white with foam like a rabid dog. The wind howled and lashed against the ship, making it rock back and forth with increasing violence.
"𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨!" you exclaimed, your voice shaking with fear. "𝘞𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘴!"
"𝘞𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦, 𝘐 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘬 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩." Sasha said with a surprisingly stotic voice.
The other two nodded in agreement. The thought of being out on the deck in the middle of a raging storm was not particularly appealing. And thus all three people made their way inside, closing the door behind them.
