𝗦𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘆 : 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑓𝑎𝑡𝑒

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 1

A girl around 25 years old had been standing in the college corridor for a long time constantly gazing at one classroom door The college bell rang and many students came out of that door discussing the exam paper and questioning each other - "How tough was today's paper? How many marks will we get? Will we even pass?" But the girl's attention was fixed only on that door. Now, the people around her were also wondering who was the person she was waiting so long.

The wait is over and the person she was waiting for comes out, who looks pale and weak, not because of illness but because of the continuous application of ubtan ( A traditional bridal paste) to her body.

The constant application of ubtan (A traditional bridal paste) had given her body  a yellowish glow instead of its normal skin tone.

Due to her diffrent appearance more than half of the people in the college corridor were paying attention to her but she didn't like to being the center of attention so she quickly walked towards her bag to pick it up and leave, but her steps stop upon hearing a voice .

"Aur kaisa Gaya meri pili chuzi ka exam" On hearing this, she went up to Rimsha and grabbed her bag from her hand without waiting for her response.
( And how was my yellow Chick exam)

Mehak asked, 'What are you doing here?'

To which Rimsha without answering her again said "We used to affectionately call you Chuzi ( Chick) but you took it to heart Momo" Rimsha asked her with a smile and
chuckle at her

She took out her Abaya from her bag and handed the bag to Rimsha saying  "jahannum may jao and tell me why you came"
( Go to the hell)
(Abaya is a type of traditional clothing worn by muslim women)

Mehak wearing a hijab look at herself in the selfie camera of her phone and says  "Tum bataogi to hai nahi khair? Chalo Ghar chalte hai aur dekhte hai koun sa Naya kalesh hota hai hone wali Dulhan ka ghar se gayab hone par"
("You won't answer me, fine? Let's go home and see what's new drama going because of the absence of to be bride")

Mehak and Rimsha are standing in the college parking lot, and Mehak says to Rimsha " Should I drive the scooty " On hearing this, Rimsha turns her neck so sharply towards Mehak that it seems like her neck might break and said "no I'm very happy in my life with my baby  I don't want to die so early tomorrow I went to attend the wadding of my born to be single friend and want to meet my brother in law and give birth to child and being old with my baby so I'll drive aap piche bethengi soon to be bride"
( and you sit behind me soon-to-be bride!")

Mehak pretends not to hear when she hears her husband's name and starts looking down at her shoes as if suddenly interested in them

Rimsha is busy in driving the scooty and Mehak is sitting behind her lost in thought

Rimsha calls out to 'momo' snapping her back to reality Mehak asks Rimsha what's going on and Rimsha responds with a smile
"The bride-to-be has arrived at her house!"

Seeing her house only one thought comes to Mehak's mind - " bhag Jao is ghar se"She shrugged off her thoughts and takes a deep breath gets off the scooty stands up and asked Rimsha "You're not coming inside "
("Run away from this house ")

Rimsha said to mehak "No way, I'm coming in evening at the mehndi function with Sana and mariya I don't want to meet your those bloody kaleshi aunts of yours

On hearing this, Mehak smiles slightly and says "they are not my aunts those are just my mom's cousin sisters. They are just a distant relatives of mine"

Mehak waves goodbye to Rimsha and stands at her house's gate gazing up at her home from the garden Suddenly two hands lands on each of her shoulders and two people standing beside her look up and ask each other "What's up there?" Aman says "Maybe she's gone crazy" because of this mehak got frightened and place her hands on her chest and asks " When will you both come and what are you guys doing here?"

Afzal says Since you've been standing here looking up and Aman asks her "What are you doing standing here like this? If someone sees you like this it'll create a big scene Let's go inside."

"The three of them head towards the hall together Due to wedding functions the guests stey at home because of that the sofa had been removed from the hall and only mattresses were spread out Mehak's real aunt was sitting on one of them with a 5-year-old child who was engrossed in playing games on the phone. As soon as he sees Mehak he drops the phone and jumps into her lap embracing her tightly."

Seeing Mehak her aunt asks " How was your exam?" To which mehak responds with a fake smile " It went well "  Her brother Aman notices her expression and asks " If the exam went well then why are you making a face "

Mehak says "You know when I went to the exam hall to give my exam the investigator instead of telling me my seat number first looked me up and down and it wasn't just her more than half of the people in the exam hall were staring at me it was so embarrassing And then the investigator couldn't resist asking me " Are you getting married?" Mehak aunt asked "So what did you say"

Just then the sound of a car horn is heard and Aman says "Momo quickly take your belongings and go to your room before they see you."

Mehak quickly grabs her stuff and rushes towards her room She hastily climbs the stairs talk to herself " kya din a gaye hai exam bhi ab chuop kar dena pad raha hai "
( What's the day come to? Now I have to sneak around for want to give my exams )

"Wow Mehak Ansari what a kaleshi life!" she says, shutting the door of her room.

"Inside the room, her sister Fatima Ansari is sitting on the bed with her friends chatting with them

When Fatima sees Mehak she asks How was your exam Hearing this  Mehak becomes irritated and says " Why are all of you asking like it's my boards"

A Fatima friend asked "Is she really your older sister?"

Fatima says with a stern expression "Why do you think I'm lying She is my older sister."

Fatima one friend said" but she is looking like a twin of your younger brother she is looked like a teenager "

After hearing her Fatima second friend said" yeah that's why her in-laws choose mehak for her younger brother-in-law"

Fatima another friend said " you mean he is younger than her how can they wed their son with a girl who was older than groom just because you look young doesn't mean you are young"

Fatima said " he is not younger than her their age was same and he is cousin of my-"

Their conversation stop after head a knock on the door mehak cousin come with some snacks and coffee for Fatima friends

Taking her kalire and kanghna ( A traditional jewelry gifted by the bride's brother) mehak left her room with her cousin zeba .

Fatima was offering a cup of coffee to her friend who had earlier comment on Mehak but instead of handing it over gently  Fatima intentionally poured the entire cup onto her friend's white kurta staining it and burn her .

Fatima takes her to the bathroom to clean her clothes and asks " What happened did you get burned or something?"

Her friend asked "Hey wasn't it you Fatima, who intentionally poured coffee all over me

Fatima gazes into her eyes with a smile and warns her " I intentionally hurt you and this is just a little trailer of it  if you dare to mess with my sister from now on I will burn you in ashes "
