'what? all of this for me? what? should i know and follow everything printed on these papers?' i thought, fake smiling to the individuals in the room.
"sir nakamura?" ms. choi taunted.
he took off his glasses, cleaned them, and fixed them on him before answering the lady, "ms. choi?"
"i don't think she's fitted to be the mc," she started, and i got confused, "i just think hyejin is better and more gifted. verbally and.." the lady gives me a stank eye, "visually."
'what the flipping bird foot? how should i imply that? is she subliminally calling me illiterate...? and ugly?!?! what the f-'
"ms. choi, if hyerin is better than kirinare, music bank wouldn't have nominated 5 female musicians to be an mc and have kirinare on the list, and not have hyerin on it?" manager nakamura explained.
her eyes widened, "hyerin didn't want to-"
"which reminds me," manager nakamura looks towards my direction, "you'll be pairing with han dongmin from boyntextoor!"
i froze.. "taesan?" i blurted out in disbelief, slowly covering my mouth after saying what i just said.
the manager nodded, "yes, and his folder is under yours." he smiled.
