Baking • Lee Felix

"I have made a deal with the devil haven't I?" You shrugged as you finally agreed to bake with your boyfriend Felix. He was too adorable to resist and for the last week he had been begging for you two to bake. The only issue was he was good at it and you well, that wasn't your strongest side.

"No my love I promise you won't regret this!!" He jumped around like a kid. He immediately ran to the kitchen and you followed. "Hey we aren't baking now are we?" He looked at you seriously but then broke out in a laugh. "No silly, I'm gonna prepare ingredients and see what we are missing"

After a few hours Felix had looked up recipes, gone shopping and prepared to start the baking. For every task that brought you closer you felt more and more dreadful. It's just baking right? The thought of ruining Felix baking and embarrassing yourself fueled the anxiety. He had tried for so long to bake with you and each time you had to decline.

"Okay let's start now, I'll guide you and we will work together so don't worry" he assured her, probably noticing she was a bit on edge over the entire thing. After doing a few steps you realized it was kinda fun and enjoyed seeing Felix in his element and him being all excited to help you.

After you finished baking the feeling of dread came back. How in the world was this going to taste? You asked yourself. Felix on the other hand was eager to get a taste of your hard work.
"Okay let's test it now. It looks really good honey" he said. You tried to agree but it didn't sound very convincing. "Of course..."

"Is something wrong?" He looked at you with wide eyes. "No, but Felix... baking isn't my strong suit. I don't think it's gonna taste very well" you finally admitted. "Well there's only one way to tell" before he could finish his sentence he tasted it.

"It's delicious honey, you did great. Here try some" he reached out to you and you agreed to taste it. To your suprise it really was delicious. The two of you had so much fun baking and in the end it was good. Relief washed over your entire body.

"I'd like to do this more often Felix. It was nice"
