Gamer's Remedy

PROLOGUE

JULIA's POV

  "Goodmorning doc mukang may hangover ka ngayon ah broken ka siguro noh" sabi ni Kelvin kasamahan at kaibigan ko sa pinagtratrabaohan kung ospital. Talagang na isip niyang broken ako eh wala pa nga akong boyfriend.

  "Tanga anong broken porket may hang over broken agad?" sabi ko. Hindi ba pwedeng nag celebrate lang kasi another success na namn nakuha ko.

  "Sungit mo naman doc pero bakit ka nga may hangover?" sabi niya at ngumiti nang mapang asar. Talaga tong baklang to kung wala lang talaga akong hang over ngayon kanina ko pa to sinapak.

  "Dr. Castro puntahan mo nalang kaya yung mga pasyente mo? Nakikimarites kapa dito baka gusto mo sumbong kita kay ate" Sabi ko na may pagbabanta sa boses at biglang nawala ang ngiti niya sa labi nang imention ko si ate, alam kasi niya na pinsan ko ang nagmamay ari nang ospital na to, siya palang ang nakakaalam na may connection ako sa may ari nang ospital na pinagtratrabahoan namin.

  "Sabi ko nga pupuntahan ko na mga pasyente ko di ka naman mabiro doc" sabi niya halatang natakot sa sinabi ko.

    "Alis na ako doc ingat ka" sabi niya at umalis na. Hinimas ko ang aking sentido dahil masakit malamang may hangover nga eh.

     "hay nako Julia sige uminom pa ayan tuloy pumasok kang mukang zombie" sabi ko sa sarili tyaka umalis sa office para i check ang mga pasyente ko. After kung icheck lahat nang mga pasyente ko kay dumiritso ako sa cafeteria para bumili nang kape tyaka bumalik sa office para i check ang results ng mga lab test na pinakuha ko kanina.

    Pagkatapos nang shift ko ay nakasalubong ko ang isa sa mga naging pasyente ko dati na naging close na sakin. "Dr. Villareal nice to see you again" sabi niya habang nakangiti ng matamis tyaka ako niyakap.

   "Ms. Kara nice to see you too what brings you doing here? are you okay?" sabi ko habang nakangiti nasupresa dahil sa kanyang biglang pagpunta dito.

    "Oh I'm fine don't worry, I personally came here to invite you to a party" sabi niya. " Kailan ba?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
" There's this event I prepared to say thank you to all the people whose there for me through my process before and after my operation and you're one of them so I want you to come, and don't worry it's just a simple party" she said still smiling.

      "Of course I would love to go, kailan ba? Baka kasi busy ako sa araw na yan" sabi ko looking at my schedule to see if may free time ako. " The day after tomorrow" sabi nya hoping that I could come. Chineck ko schedule ko kung may free ba ako sa araw na yun tyaka ako nag salita. " Okay I'll come since I don't have work on that day" sabi ko smilling to her after she give the time and location of the event I immediately go to my car and drove to my condo.

THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW

    Nagising ako around 6A.M tyaka pumunta sa gym which is nasa baba lang nang condominium I spent 1 and a half hour  doing workouts and running in a treadmill. After kung mag exercise bumalik nko sa condo para maligo at magluto nang breakfast. The event will start at 6P.M so around 4  I will start preparing for it. Pagkatapos kong kumain ay naglinis ako ng condo ko kahit hindi namn masyadong madumi habang naglilinis ako ay naka tanggap ako nang tawag kay Kara reminding me not to forget about the event and that I should be there, I told her I didn't forget and I already prepared the dres that I'll be wearing later and I just spend my time doing household chores and realized that I need to go to the grocery na. So after doing all the household chores I list all the things that I will be buying at the grocery then went to change clothes at umalis na para mag grocery. Nang makarating ay kumuha na ako nang cart at dumiritso sa aisle ng mga prutas kasi nag cre-crave ako nang mangga pagkatapos ay kumuha na akong nang iba pang needs ko sa condo after that I realized that I spent 1 hour in the grocery and it's already lunch time so I decided to take a drive thru at McDonald's. When I got home I ate my lunch and arranged all the groceries then just waste my time relaxing and watching movie waiting for the time to get ready. When its already 4 P.M nagsimula na akong maghanda para sa event, I spent 1hour doing my hair and make up then change into a simple black and white dress that reaches my knees I pair it with a black high heel. If it's obvious yes I love black and white colors when I was done, I grab my purse, phone, and keys before going to the parking lot.

   When I arrived at the venue there was a lot of media at the entrance hindi na ako nagtaka knowing Ms. Kara, she's one of the most successful business owner here in the Philippines. Bumaba na ako nang kotse at binigay ang susi ko sa isang staff para maipark ang kotse ko tyaka ako pumunta sa entrance. I was greeted by flashes of camera until I got inside the venue, when I got inside, I saw Ms. Kara talking to a familiar guy. I waited until she look at my way and when she did she smiled and excuse herself to come and greeted me.

    "Julia you came!" She said smiling with excitement. "I told I would come" I respond.

     "Let me take you to your table I ask them to place you at the front" She said. when we arrive at the table, the familiar guy came to us and Kara introduce us to each other.

      "Oh by the way Kai good thing you're here, I'd like you to meet Dr. Julia Elizabeth Villareal, Julia this is Kai a good friend of mine " she said smiling to the familiar guy. Kai looked at me  from head to toe and smiled. Gosh bat ang familiar niya parang nakita ko na cya dati.
