Charlotte shuffles around before sitting up*
Ring Ring...
Charlotte picks up the phone
Marjorie- "hi Charlotte"
Charlotte- "What do you want"
Marjorie- "well you know we have a delivery today"
Charlotte- "yes this better not go we're I think it's going"
Marjorie- "I was wondering if you would be a very kind soul today and I don't know maybe help out"
Charlotte- "isn't chef in"
Marjorie- "No I haven't heard from her"
Marjorie takes a deep breath*
Marjorie- "listen Charlotte I don't like calling you making you do extra work but your only one that would actually do it because your amazing person"
Charlotte- "Oh Marjorie you're good"
Marjorie- "I know, I'll be waiting be quick lovely"
Charlotte sighs*
Charlotte- "bye Marjorie"
Charlotte sits on the edge of her bed for a couple minutes before finding the energy get up
Charlotte- "I suppose I should I shower first"
She slowly makes her way to the shower turning it on and standing there for 3 minutes trying to get the right temperature
Charlotte gets in the shower
Charlotte- "California girls were unforgettable daisy dukes bikinis on top"
10 minutes later Charlotte wraps her towel around her*
Charlotte starts brushing her teeth and 3 minutes later she goes to get ready*
She finished getting ready and walked down her hallway grabbing her car keys and hair band on the way putting it on her wrist
She sits in the car but before driving off she looks in the mirror applying some lip gloss
Ring Ring...
Her bag starts vibrating
Charlotte- "that will be Marjorie"
She picks up her phone
Charlotte- "Marjorie I said I was coming"
Mia- "I'm not Marjorie"
She laughs it off*
Charlotte- "oh hi Mia"
Mia- "you know I was on that business trip"
Charlotte- "yes"
Mia- "well I wasn't actually needed yet so I can spend the week with you"
Charlotte- "I can't wait for you to get back should we have a movie night"
Mia- "that sounds wonderful and since it's October I'm going to pick my favourite slasher"
Charlotte- "I can't wait I'll pick up some snacks after work"
Mia- "that's nice, my taxi is here I'll see you later"
She giggles*
Charlotte- "bye"
Mia hangs up*
Charlotte puts her seatbelt on and reverses out her drive making the orange leaves crinkle and heads off to the nursery
5 minutes later*
She Steps out of the her car and standing at the gate was Marjorie
Marjorie- "someone seems happy lift some boxes"
She looks Charlotte up and down*
Charlotte- "Mia called me it turns out we'll be able to spend Halloween together"
Marjorie- "that sounds lovely"
Charlotte- "are you Reece doing anything after work"
Marjorie- "No my plan was to snuggle up in bed and watch love island"
Charlotte laughs*
Marjorie- "why anyway"
Charlotte- "well I was wondering if you and Reece want to join our movie night maybe"
Marjorie- "I don't know about Reece he has been quite stressed recently"
Charlotte- "that's fine then"
Marjorie- "don't worry he'll probably say yes If I ask"
Marjorie- "enough with the chitchat let's get started"
Charlotte- "oh are you going to help"
Marjorie- "yes"
Marjorie- " I was being sincere when I told you what a brilliant person you are I wasn't trying to manipulate you or anything"
Charlotte- "thank you Marjorie that's like the nicest thing anyone has said to me"
Marjorie- "and since you're so brilliant I thought I'd lend a helping hand"
Charlotte- "thank you"
Marjorie- "well let's get a move on otherwise it'll be Christmas by the time we end this conversation"
They both lift the heavy boxes toward the kitchen *
Marjorie- "I don't get how chef does this by her self"
Charlotte- "she must be very strong"
Marjorie- "yes very"
They arrived to the walk in freezer door and Charlotte tried pulling on it*
Charlotte- "it won't budge"
Marjorie- "it's a push door"
Charlotte- "oh right"
Charlotte- "no it still won't open"
Marjorie- "let me try"
Marjorie pushes on it as hard as she can
Marjorie- "I think you're right"
Charlotte- "let's try together"
Marjorie- "ok on three we barge into the door"
Charlotte- "ok"
Marjorie- "..1.."
Marjorie- "..2.."
Marjorie- "..3.."
They charge for the door and it slams open revealing the cold dead body of chef
Marjorie- "WHAT THE FUCK"
