Third person's POV

22 hours before the incident

   The Ricalde Mansion is in uproar for the preparation of Maureen Love "Marlow" Ricalde's 18th birthday party. She is the only daughter of a wealthy family that owns several businesses in Philippines and abroad. Her birthday is and will be the talk of the nation.

"Marlow, sweety." Marlow's Dad, Don Marco Ricalde said. Lumingon naman si Marlow sa kaniyang ama.

Marlow: Yes, Dad?

"Is Murphy coming?" Tanong ng kaniyang ama. Marlow's face drop after hearing her childhood friend's name. She smiled bitterly.

"I don't know. Our last conversation was a year ago." Marlow confessed. Don Marco was shock because he never once thought that the two can be separated for a long time.

"Really?" Don Marco. "Yep, I stop pestering her na din kasi I know she needs it." Marlow said.

The relationship between Marlow and Murphy is something special that nothing can torn them apart.

That's why it puzzled Don Marco why the two never had a conversation for a year.

"Tito Marco, Hi. Can I borrow Marlow?" Sloan said, interrupting the conversation that Marlow and her father had. "Sure ija." Don Marco replied.

(Sloan Aurey Sevilleja, the daughter of Governor Stella Sevilleja and Senator Alexander Sevilleja. Marlow's bestfriend since grade school.)

Agad namang hinila ni Sloan si Marlow papalayo sa kinaupuan ni Don Marco.

"Your after-party is oh so readyy." Sabay wagayway sa kaniyang kamay na ala Ruffa Mae. Marlow squealed happily.

"Everyone's gonna be there, right?" Marlow ask her bestfriend. Sloan paused for a moment trying to remember the people who will attend the after-party of Marlow's birthday.

"Yes... except for Murphy but I sent an invitation na incase she decides to come." Sloan said. "Anyways, you need to check your outfit for the party because girly I know for sure all of us will be wasted." Sloan stated which Marlow agreed.

"Sana naman hindi yung too revealing ha." Biglang sambat ng babae sa likod nila. Agad naman lumingon si Marlow at Sloan sa likod.

"Ate Avery! Shiloh!" Marlow didn't waste any time ang hug her two bestfriend.
