Chapter 2- Just Let It Be

3rd Person POV:

     Mal let Evie sleep in due to her conditions until her phone went off. Ev groaned and covered her ears with a pillow. "Babe. You need to get up." Mal said, silencing the phone. Evie muffled something into the pillow, but both of them didn't know what she said. "Evie." Mal lifted the pillow off of girlfriend. Evie sat up onto her knees, thinking she did something wrong from being called her real name. "You are so cute." Mal chuckled. Evie flipped her off and grabbed onto Mal. "You are clingy. You're proving my point." Mal continued giggling, causing Evie to roll over and ignore her.

     After about an hour, Mal convinced Evie to get up and off the bed. "Fuck you." Evie groaned. "I thought you were an energized morning person." Mal said back. "Yeah. When I don't feel like passing out every other minute." Ev held onto Mal so she doesn't fall. Mal held Evie's waist and smiled, "You look and are acting like a child, and it's absolutely adorable." Evie flustered, hiding her face on Mal's shoulder, "Shut... up."

     A knock was at their door. Once Mal opened the door, Dude ran in and spun around Evie, causing her to have to kneel on the floor. "Dude." Mal snapped her fingers at the dog. The entire gang was there. Carlos and Jay invited Red and Chloe to join the VK-AK team. Chloe accepted with joy. Red only agreed cause of her girlfriend. Harry leaned against the doorframe, snapping his fingers into a finger gun at Evie, looking at Mal, "What happened to her?" Mal stared back at the pirate, "Isn't it obvious?" She looked back inside, "E, bed. Now. Before you pass out." Mal gestured her hand to everyone to come in, and Gil shook his head. "It is not obvious." He said, earning a hit on the head by Audrey. "How stupid are you?" She said. "He isn't the sharpest tool in the shed." Uma answered the question, causing the old Queen of Mean to roll her eyes.

     "Dude. Leave the poor girl alone." Carlos said, bringing the dog over to him. "So... Evie is sick?" Chloe spoke up. And gained a hit on the arm from Red. "Isn't that what she just said?" The Wonderland girl finally said something. People looked at her with shock. "So you can talk." Ben teased. Red flipped him off being leaning back on the wall, crossing her arms, and putting a foot up. "Asshole." Ben flipped Red off. "Don't test her. She stabbed her father before." Chloe warned Ben, who had a shocking look on his face. "Oh, I remember that." Uma spoke up.

A/N: If you read my Descendants Red x Chloe book, you would know what happened.

     Red nudged Chloe to shut her up and moved her eyes to the ceiling, becoming lost in thought. Mal looked at Evie, who was fast asleep in her lap.

Mal's POV:

     I was staring at the beautiful face on my lap, who was fast asleep. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked to break the silence. Ben spoke up, "We wanted to spend a day together, especially with the newest crew members." He pointed at Chloe and Red. "But since your princess is sleeping, we can't." Jay finished Ben's thought. "Not just sleeping. She's sick." I corrected him. Jay nodded, "Right, yeah." Harry said something next, "I got an idea."

     "Are you insane?" Red asked Harry, who was holding his hook hand out. I moved Evie onto the pillows, keeping our hands intertwined. "I'm pretty sure you are, Wonderland girl." Harry scoffed at Red. "You want us to use our weapons for a game." Ben sided up with Red. "Give it a chance. Come on, Mal. Try a spell." Gil said. I sighed, grabbing my spell book. "Now we need Evie's mirror." Harry looked at the sleeping girl. "Don't wake her up. Don't touch her or her mirror." I threatened the pirate.

     "Mirror mirror, shine a light." Evie groaned, pointing the mirror at Harry. He covered his eyes, making the rest of us laugh. "Got it. Don't mess with Evie." Harry put his hands up in a surrendering position. Evie had an evil grin on her face of the 'I win' expression, sitting up into a criss-crossed position ,keeping her mirror in her hand on the bed. "Well done, love." I kissed Evie's forehead. "Ew." Harry did a face of disgust. "Can you shut up for once?" Audrey scoffed. "You sounded like my brother there, Harry." Chloe chuckled.

3rd Person POV:

     Chloe remembered the look that Chad always gave her and Red every time they kissed in front of her from Harry's reaction to Mal kissing Evie. "What else can the mirror do?" Gil asked. "A bunch of shit I still don't know." Evie responded, looking at the mirror in her hand. Mal grabbed Evie's other and held it, rubbing her thumb around her girlfriend's hand, making a smile appear on Ev's face. "Just let it be. They'll be asking you questions about it a lot. Speaking from personal experience." Mal whispered to Evie, making both of them chuckle in silence.
