Now what?

A week passed by after the incident and their exams are just two days away.

Joshua admitted everything to everyone. He agreed to take therapy sessions after the exams were over. Jeonghan and him are not on talking terms. No one is talking to Joshua right now except for one. Seokmin.

Seokmin secretly keeps talking with Joshua making sure he is okay and is doing well physically and mentally.

The others are still shocked at the unexpected turn of events they faced in the last couple of days.

Seokmin's condition has improved a lot and he is doing quite well because his Hyung's Yoongi and Jihoon always make sure he is not stressing out on anything and his dongsaengs make sure to keep him entertained with their daily shenanigans.

With his sibling's unwavering support and love, Seokmin's condition is stable.

Jeonghan on the other hand has locked himself in his apartment refusing to meet anyone. Not even his friends, Wonwoo, Minghao, Seungkwan and Chan.

One evening Jeonghan receives a call from an unknown number. He furrows his eyebrow as to who would be calling him but nonetheless picks it up,

"Hello? Who's this?"

"Jeonghan", the voice speaks and he instantly recognises it. How can he forget the voice of the person who was once his everything and his only solace?

Jeonghan was about to hang up when the voice spoke hurriedly.

"Wait.... Don't hang up. Listen to me once"

"What is it Seungcheol?", asked Jeonghan as he gritted his teeth. Seungcheol was the last person he wanted to speak to right now.

"I just...I just wanted to ask how are you?"

"I am fine and now if you are done I'd like to hang up"

"Hannie." Seungcheol let out in a whisper.

Jeonghan's eyes flood with tears as the familiar nickname brings back the memories. The memories he desperately wants to forget.

"You don't get to call me that anymore." He said frustrated as his voice cracked.

"Please, Jeonghan. Just let me be here for you. Even if it’s just as a friend. You don’t have to go through this alone." Seungcheol pleads.

"It's not easy Seungcheol. It's not that easy. You don't understand what I am going through." He lets his tears flow and Seungcheol's heart aches as he listens to his past lover crying his heart out and yet he can't even be there for him, or lend his shoulder.

"Then let me in, Jeonghan. Show me your vulnerability and I promise I'll be there for you, I'll help you through it." Seungcheol says.

There’s a heavy silence, Jeonghan torn between the pain and the comfort of Seungcheol’s voice.

"I don't know... I don't know if I should do this"

"It's okay I understand. I'll earn back your trust if you'll let me. I just want to make sure you're okay."

"I don't know if I am okay, Seungcheol," Jeonghan says quietly.

"Then let me help you through this, Hannie. I promise I'll be there for you. You know I never stopped caring."

"Why now, Seungcheol? Why after all this time?"

"Because I never stopped loving you."

"C-Cheol I-I" Jeonghan stammered.
