coming back to you

3- new years

This morning I woke up earlier than I usually do because I have a lot of things to do before I can go to bright fields. I woke up at 4. 15 in the morning. I look out of the window and I see that there's around fifteen centimeters of snow outside. My grandparents went to The Epsom Derby. It's the biggest horse race in Britain and my grandpa is a jockey and he rides a horse called cracksman

I got dressed in my home riding clothes and went down to eat breakfast. I eat a whole sandwich and I went to help Dad in the stables. When we were done I went to practice in indoor arena. My mother and friends came from bright fields and they watch me train. My father puts poles so high that the last one is taller than me.

"Jan are you out of your mind?!" My mum shouted at my dad

"Well, I'm not mad, I'm sure she can do it" he tells me so I start at the first ox. As I reach the last one and clear it, everyone starts cheering

"That's it Ana!" Marcus screamed

"I told you Michelle, she can do it. You should have seen her at cross country last time, she needs to practice," dad told mom

"Dad, I think it could be a lot better," I told my dad

"I have video from her gopro," Dea said and showed the video to everyone

"It could be so much better, it just wasn't my day" I say as I get down from kronos. I find it unrelated to him and what I put in his stall. After this Me, Dea, Nika, Zoe, Marcus, Jade, Becky and Gaby walk to bright fields. I see a pin there

"Pin you should see how high Anna jumps with Kronos" Becky said to pin and show him the video she took and posted on her blog

"Wow, that's almost as tall as me, jesus you look tired" said the pin as he looked at my face

"I woke up at 4. 15am" I told him and he took me to his office. He sat me down on his chair

"Tea or coffee?" Pin asked me

"Coffee rather than tea, please" I say and he hands me a strong pot of coffee

"Here you go" he says as he places a cup in front of me. I try it and it is very strong

"Thank you. So what are you going to do tonight?" I asked Pin

"Watch a movie on a haystack" he replied. When I finished my coffee, we went to prepare  haysack for the movie night. After we finished I got a call from my mom to get home for lunch. Me, Dea and Nika went home. When we came home mom had a lot of food for us.

"Wow, mom that's too much" I say to her

"Yes mom, who will eat all this?" Dea asked our mom and we all sat at the table and started eating. After we finished eating, we went back to clear fields. As we came to bright fields Becky went live on her blog

"Hey guys I found out why Winnie is here all the time since Christmas" said Marcus as he came from the paddock

"Really?" I asked him

"Yes, her parents got divorced and Winnie moved here with her mother, she doesn't feel accepted anywhere else on the island, I'm so sorry for her," said Marcus to explain.

"Poor girl, how sad she must feel," I said

"I have an idea, we should make this new year magical for her," Becky said

"Yeah" we all agreed with Becky

"What if we invite her to the movie night" I I suggest and the others all agree. I told Nika and Dea to go get winnie and take her to clear areas, because Nika was the only one who knew exactly where winnie lives. While they were gone, Pin came out of his office

"Ana, you are officially our classmate" the pin told me

"You and who else?" I asked

"Zoe, Jade, Marcus, Becky, Susie, Mia and Gaby and some people from Holloway you might know Callum Elphick and some of his friends and of course non-horse people from the island" the pin explained to me as Nika and dea return with Winnie and her mom.

"Hello, so you want my daughter here" winnie's mom asked

"Yeah, we want her here for a movie night,  we heard your family has a hard time, so we thought we make a funny new year for winnie and get you some space to let you think it through without being stressed about winnie" I explained it to winnie's mom respectfuly. Her mom weakly smiles but than she starts crying

"It's been a rough time for both me and winnie" she cried out and went home. Zoe and pin came out of his office yelling on eachother

"LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE ZOE. We are braking up" pin yelled angry on zoe.

As it started to get darker we get projector and screen. Pin puts the movie on and sits behind all of us. He's clearly still upset and angry. As the movie starts, it brings back  memories of my accident. I run to the bathroom and pin came behind

"What's wrong?" Pin asked as he came into the bathroom

"Long story short, this movie reminds me of my accident i had 3 years ago in the Netherlands" I said to pin

"What happened?" Pin asked concerned

"It was snowy like today. Me and my twi friends went on a ride very early in the morning. We tried to take a short cut over the road to the hill. My friend, Judith's horse slipped and than we all fell on the road. I got hit into the hemlet. Kronos got up fast and got out of the road before the truck came and hit my friends. Judith died and Grace lost her right leg. We went to some horse wisperer because horses were not like themselves after it. We were there for a year and a half. I still feel bad about it" I explain to pin. Pin pulled me into a hug and kissed me. He pulled back and looked at my eyes

"I'm sorry, I just... I needed to... i... i have feelings for you. I love you Ana" pin struggled to get out of his lips and we went back to the haysack to watch a movie. After the movie ended we went home. I took a shower and laid into my bed but I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about about what happened with Pin in the bathroom.
