On an early spring morning, Traveler and Paimon came across Chioriya Boutique while taking a relaxing walk in the Court of Fontaine.
"Oh, it's Chiori !" Paimon exclaimed, at the sight of the young woman stepping outside her dainty boutique,
"Let's greet her, Traveler !"
"Mmh"
"Hi Chiori, it's a pleasure to run into you today ! What are you up to?" Paimon was very joyous that day.
"Uh ? Oh, it's the Traveler and Paimon. Hi, you two! Long time no see.
I... am just working through my preparations for the upcoming Fontaine Fashion Week. You, tell me : what brings you there ?"
"The Fontaine Fashion Week ?" Paimon exclaimed in a dramatic surprised tone, "Wow, can't believe the next one is already soon ! The adventure in Usher's murky factory is still fresh in our minds. Ooh... Paimon's excited...! Hope this time we will be able to model for you, hehe. For our part, we were just passing by, you know."
"I can't wait to see what outfits you have prepared.", Traveler declared nicely, with admiration shining through her eyes.
"Oh, model ? Right... I still haven't booked any model, so... maybe? You will need to do fittings once I'll finish arranging some outfits. But I still don't have any fabric here yet, so you two will have to stay in Fontaine for some time if you want to participate in the show."
"The Fashion Week is in two months, right ? Then we need to stay here for two months... What do you think, Traveler ?"
"I'm not quite sure... It's been already a year of adventures in Fontaine, we were about to head in the next nation in two weeks... I'll think about tha----" Traveler was trying to correct Paimon's impulsive demand...
"Wait...!", Paimon interrupted, "Chiori, you say that you still don't have fabric ? That's... um... concerning."
"Well, after last year's incident that you are very well familiar with, I've decided to be the only one responsible to gather fabrics and accessories. I'm heading to Sumeru... in exactly one hour.", Chiori says with satisfaction, "This year, my show will revolve around the theme of 'nature's gift', in contrast with last year's ocean and coral aesthetic... I want to gather some Sumeru traditional fabrics with embroidery. This will be my first time there actually... I'd also like to take inspiration from the rainforests there for my show's aesthetic."
"Ooh, so you have planned a lot... Paimon sees what you're trying to do ! You want to... um"
"Discover a new style of clothing to take inspiration from ?" suggested the Traveler, slightly mocking Paimon's talking-before-thinking behavior.
"Exactly", Chiori nodded, "I'm very excited for this trip."
After a short silence, the Traveler ponders :
"This theme sure sounds fantastic. I am looking forward to the show. Paimon, we must be there on time to see it !"
"Yep !" added Paimon
"Then we will not be taking any more of your time. You certainly need to finish your preparations for the trip", the Traveler concluded.
After saying goodbyes, the Traveler and Paimon slowly continued their walk towards the Adventurer Guild, whereas Chiori gathered her stuff outside so as to order them and make sure she wasn't forgetting anything.
Soon enough, her bag was packed, and she carefully closed the boutique.
