A few months later...

It's Christmas eve and Venus and I are back home to celebrate.

She left the tour a few weeks early to start moving in while I kept traveling, and I'm gonna see her for the first time in weeks in a few minutes.

I wish I could've helped her, but she insisted it would be okay if her friends helped.

"You excited?" Finneas asks. "Yeah. I miss her so much." I answer. "She'll be here any minute now." He smiles.

"Mhm." I grin back at him.

A few minutes later, I hear the key turn in the door and Venus comes in the room. I run up to her and hug her tightly. "Hi, baby!"

"Hi!" She giggles and kisses me. "I missed you so much!"

"I missed you more." I tell her with a smile. I wrap her in my arms once more and kiss her head. "How've you been?" I ask her as I walk into our bedroom.

"Baby, you literally asked that 30 minutes ago over text." Venus chuckles. "Well, your mood could've changed!" I shrug. "I'm good, B." She laughs. "How are you, my love?"

"I'm so happy now that you're here." I grin. Venus grabs my face and kisses me. "We're finally moved in together. It's our first Christmas together, too!"

"I know, baby, I'm so excited." I smile softly. "My sweet girl." I say gently as I rub her cheek with my thumb.

She grins and kisses me before shutting the door. She gets changed into our matching Christmas pajamas and the two of us go out to the living room where everyone is.

"You girls look so cute." My mom says, putting her hands over her heart. "Thanks, Momma." I chuckle.

We sit down on the loveseat and Venus lays her head in my lap. I run my fingers through her hair and massage her head, making her kiss my leg since she's laying on it.

"Okay, enough being gay. Let's open presents." Finneas says. "Be nice." Claudia nudges him. "What? All they do is kiss and cuddle!" He shrugs.

"Shut up." She rolls her eyes at him. Finneas sighs and Claudia looks at me and mouths "So dramatic."

I laugh and go back to rubbing Venus' head.

We opened presents and talked for a while and now, my family left.

Me and V are headed to bed now.

"Baby, shan shou pash me tat?"

"What the fuck did you just say?" I laugh at her having her toothbrush in her mouth.

Venus rolls her eyes and takes her toothbrush out of her mouth. "Can you pass me that?" She points to the mouthwash after she spits out her toothpaste.

"Yeah." I chuckle and hand her the bottle.

After we finish brushing our teeth, we get into bed with the dogs. Venus curls up with her head on my chest and I kiss her head once she's comfortable.

"Goodnight, baby."

"Goodnight, B." Venus smiles up at me and kisses my lips. "I love you."

"I love you more, baby girl." I reply.

I turn the light out and close my eyes to fall asleep.

When I wake up in the morning, I gently roll Venus off of me and walk into the kitchen. I make her her morning coffee and bring it back into the bedroom. I tap her softly and she wakes up. "Good morning. Merry Christmas, mama." I smile.

"Merry Christmas." She grins as she stretches. "I made you coffee." I say, handing the cup to her. "Thank you, my love." Venus says, taking it from me.

"Of course." I reply.

Once she's done drinking her coffee, she opens her arms for me to cuddle. "I wanna open presents." I frown. "Well I want you to open your presents."

"Uh huh." She rolls her eyes. "Okay, fine, I really wanna see what you got me." I sigh in defeat. "C'mon." She laughs and gets off the bed.

We walk into the living room and sit down on the couch. "Okay, I'm gonna give the big one to you first." Venus says.

"Okay." I grin like a little kid out of excitement.

Venus hands me a big box and I quickly unwrap it. In the box, I pull out an electric guitar and gasp. "Baby, you didn't."

"I did." She smiles innocently. "I've been wanting this one!" I say, hugging her tightly. "Thank you so much!"

"Of course, my love." Venus grins. I kiss her before getting up to grab her one of her presents.

I hand it to her and she thanks me. Venus unwraps the present and opens a long box with a Vivienne Westwood necklace in it, 'V' engraved in the back of the pendent. "Oh my god, baby, thank you so much! I wanted this so bad."

"Anything for you, baby." I smile.

It's safe to say we spoiled each other a lot for Christmas.

But it's our first one together.

It had to be special.

We also got the dogs a bunch of treats and they're also in matching Christmas pajamas with us.

We're incredibly extra.

We just had dinner and now, we're going to bed. "Jupiter, stop pawing me!" Venus groans. "I'm not giving you anymore treats."

"She just wants attention." I chuckle. "Why can't she be like her brother? Look how he's sitting there, nicely!" She huffs.

"Hey, don't compare our children!" I respond. "Whatever." She rolls her eyes. "Just shut up and go to sleep." I say.

"Sassy, but fine." Venus replies. "I love you, dumbass." She says, kissing my lips. "I love you too, idiot." I reply.

We're basically both flirting right now.

"Goodnight." I kiss her head and wrap her in my arms after petting the dogs before we go to sleep.

"Goodnight." She smiles softly.

I love days like this with her.

Today was really special too.

I'm so glad we're together. I don't know what I would've done if I didn't have Venus in my life.
