AMELIA ARRIVED AT THE LOCATION TWENTY MINUTES LATER, spotting Josh and Juicy, who were facing her. Josh grinned and nodded, directing her attention to Sam and Colby's backs.
She sucked in a breath and nodded back at him, humming haunted under her breath. Mully noticed her and an evil grin appeared on his face. She gave him a thumbs up and walked up directly behind Sam and Colby.
Amelia reached up and whacked their heads. "What's up ghosters!"
She spun around to face them, hands on her hips. While Colby looked somewhat calm despite the fact she was there, Sam looked like a deer caught in the headlights.
"You know, I thought that was obvious," Juicy teased and gave Amelia a high five. "Nice entry."
"Thank you, thank you."
"Alright because she's here," Narrator gave the two in shock a glance. "You have a minute to explain yourselves."
"Oh here we go," Amelia raised an eyebrow.
Colby looked at Sam and gave him a look. Sam turned to them all. "It's...something I probably couldn't say to everyone. I'll tell Amelia, I'd rather not tell everyone."
Amelia raised a brow. "We can go somewhere else."
So they did.
"God," Sam sighed. "I did it not because I wanted to...but because I was scared to reach out."
"I don't bite."
"No, not that," he rubbed his face. "I didn't know how to ask you on a date. It's stupid, I know-"
"Whoa, slow down there buddy," Amelia's eyes were wide. "You wanted to ask me out?"
"Yes, but-"
"My answer is yes."
Sam paused. "What?"
"Are you deaf?" She grinned. "I said my answer is yes."
Sam smiled and gave her a hug. "Thank you for forgiving me."
