A master/slave vow is no simple thing and should never be taken lightly. These bonds are not easily broken and go back to ancient times. These words are not to be uttered on a whim.

The original vows:
I sweareth.
You sweareth.
We sweareth.

The master shall sweareth to teach the slave.

The slave shall sweareth to serve the master.

They both shall sweareth to endure their bond until one dies.

Before the council, both the master and slave shall give their vows. These bonds are broken only by death. A slave who breaks the vow will be punished as the master sees fit. The council shall intervene if the master cannot. Execution can and will be permitted if the offense is severe enough.

There has never been a successful runaway slave until now.
