Y/N's POV

The sun was shining in from the windows as my eyes peaked open. I sat up in my makeshift bed while wiping the sleep away. I had slept relatively well considering the horrible events from yesterday. I used a moment to take everything in before standing up and getting myself ready. I walked over to the vanity in the room to see what I was working with, woof, I could definitely look better. My bandages on my head had soaked through and a glorious black eye was looking back at me. I mean I could definitely look worse, but this still wasn't great. I walked over to my suitcases and take my makeup bag out along with my hairbrush and products. "Hopefully I can cover this up slightly." I muttered aloud to myself. I got myself ready the best I could, my black eye still peaking through my freshly done makeup. I styled my hair in a french tuck with messy pieces down in the front to try and cover the gash on my forehead. I picked out a dark green tennis dress that sported a collar with some white running shoes. Hopefully feeling cute will help me get through what I'm sure is going to be a day. I brushed my teeth in the bathroom down the hall before tiding up my "room" and moseying downstairs. There was no one in the living room and no one in the kitchen. It seemed like everyone had disappeared. I peered out through the window in the kitchen and spotted the two younger twins outside throwing water balloons at another. Stan and Ford were sitting on the porch watching and laughing at them, I opened the  kitchen door to the outside which promptly made Stand and Ford look at me.

" Good morning y/n! How'd you sleep?" Stan asked me while the smile on Fords face turned sternness.

"Better than I thought it would be. Thank you again for letting me stay here with the hotel being closed and my car being a complete mess. It really does mean a lot to me." I replied earnestly.

" No big deal toots. We can look into your car & housing situation later, right now I want to know who you think is gonna win this water balloon war." Stan said with a smile which got a chuckle out of me.

Ford stood up from his position on the couch looking down at Stan for a moment before going inside without saying a word.

" Yikes, is he always so stern and serious?" I asked Stan.

" He takes a little bit to open up and grow on people but for the most part yes. Yes he is always so stern and serious." He said with a mockingly tone to his voice which got a giggle out of me.

" Alright you're on Stan, I've got 20 bucks on Dipper. He's a little boy. Surely he's got an arm." I said.

Stan let out a roaring laugh. " This is going to be the easiest 20 bucks I've made. There's brunch inside for yuh id eat that before you have to eat your shorts y/n."

I went inside and fixed my plate before walking back outside sitting next to Stan. I didn't realize how hungry I was. I had a plate of eggs, toast, and bacon that I gladly started tucking away.

As we watched the wet war between Mabel and Dipper I saw my $20 slipping away fast. This kid had no arm at all. Mabel on the other hand was a little an adhd monster. She kept pelting Dipper relentlessly with water balloons. As the water balloons became more scarce I didn't say anything but reached into my pocket and handed Stan the $20.

"Pleasure doing business with you toots." He said with a tone proving he knew he was right all along.

" You have got to get that boy in baseball or something." I said. "I honestly think a baby had a better chance against Mabel then he did."

That got a deep stomach laugh from Stan. "Well would it be okay if I made some lemonade and sandwiches inside for everyone. I'm sure Dipper needs a pick me up after this terrible display." I looked at Stan and asked.
