**Flashback**

BANARAS -

The city of Mahadev, Banaras. You've probably heard everywhere that love flows in the air here. It's true because how could anyone not fall in love with such a beautiful place? If you don't fall in love with a person, you end up falling in love with Banaras itself. This city is that beautiful. And it was on this land that Ayesha had set foot.
As she walked further into the city, she felt myself blending into Banaras.
But at this moment, there was no happiness on her face. She had been dreaming of this day for so long, the day she would be in Banaras, feeling its air. But now, she felt suffocated. And this suffocation was because of the words that girl had spoken.

Each word was piercing her ears like an arrow. She was trying her best to get those words out of her mind forever, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't. Armaan's sudden change in behavior was causing her pain, and this pain was only fueling the doubts planted by that girl's words.

Just then, a man appeared in front of her and said, "Miss Ayesha Mukherjee?"

His voice snapped her out of her thoughts, and she said, "Yes?"

"I've been sent by Mr. Mallik to pick you up. Come with me, and I'll drop you off at the camp, from where your complete trip will be provided by the college," He said. This man was one of Sharad's trusted managers who was looking after Ayesha.

Ayesha nodded, and then, taking my luggage, she moved forward. Some guards placed her bags in the back seat, and she got into the car.

In a few moments, the car was racing through the streets of Banaras.

Ayesha leaned her head against the car seat, and suddenly her phone rang. Hearing the phone, she felt a rush of excitement and smiled as she looked at the caller ID, hoping it was Armaan's call.

This hope revived her weary body.

But all her hopes were shattered when sh saw that it was Sharad calling, not Armaan.

The smile that had appeared on her lips vanished, and she reluctantly answered the phone.

On the other side, Sharad said, "Ayesha? Did you arrive safely? Any problems?"

She replied, "No, Mr. Mallik! I'm fine."

Sharad sensed the dullness in her voice and asked, "What's wrong, Ayesha? You don't sound happy. Your voice sounds quite down."

She took a deep breath and said, "No, it's just that I'm a bit tired from traveling. I'm fine."

"Okay, take care of yourself, and if there's any problem, inform me first." She was about to hang up the phone.

But then, unwillingly, she asked, "Mr. Mallik? Umm... what about..."

"What is it, Ayesha? What do you want to say?"

She wanted to ask about Armaan. But she couldn't.

"Nothing, just... I'll keep the phone. Bye." She quickly hung up.

Then she threw the phone onto the car seat in frustration and rested her head against it.

Suddenly, tears started flowing from my eyes.

She knew that if Armaan continued to behave this way for much longer, she would break completely. Because Armaan wasn't just her love; he had become the person she couldn't live without.
