"Hey, you, there any vending machines 'round here?" Ryujin boorishly asked with a bored scowl. "Across the hall, to the left." Sayeon shortly answered, her eyes glued to the computer.
Ryujin huffed at Sayeon's dismissiveness as she turned on her heel; headed out the door. The door shut closed with a heavy bang. Juni Chang woke up from her nap with a wild jolt, the papers on her desk flying off as she looked around a panic— falling back to sleep soon after.
Iseul made his way to the office from the cafe downstairs, "Woah-” Iseul yelped as Ryujin bumped mindlessly into his shoulder— causing him to nearly drop his cups of coffee.
”S- sorry." Iseul flustered over his words as he brought himself back to balance.
Ryujin merely glanced at him before she continued on her way.
"Oh..." Iseul rubbed the side of neck with his warm palm, oddly embarrassed.
"Sayeon, I got your coffee." Iseul greeted the woman as he leaned over the wall separating their tables. He placed her cup of warm flat white coffee at the empty corner of her desk.
Iseul stared at Sayeon with curiosity as she continued typing away, yet to notice him.
Her brows furrowed as she stared closely at the brightly lit screen, her face inches away.
"Hey…!" Iseul lightly scolded her habit, a finger pushed against her forehead — moving her face away from the screen.
"Oh- Iseul, thanks." Sayeon cleared her throat nervously as she straightened her back. "...How's it going with the trainee?" Iseul asked hesitantly, tipping the hot cup slightly.
Sayeon’s eye twitched at the mere mention of Ryujin, the trainee.
That rude woman that insisted on wearing a white cap around the office, despite the formal dress code.
"She's… a work in progress." Sayeon replied with an awkward grin, basically hinting her frustrations.
"I could always help her settle in." Iseul offered to help, wanting to ease her stress even the slightest bit.
"I can handle it, and don’t worry about me." Sayeon replied shortly, albeit stubbornly.
“…If you say so.” Iseul looked off to the side as he sat down on his seat, the short wall separating them once more.
A message pops out the corner of his computer’s screen, sent by Sayeon.
Iseul takes hold of his mouse and clicks the notification open.
“You know I’ll ask for your help when I need to.” Her message read, clearly her own attempt of easing his worries.
The man let out a half-hearted chuckle as he replied to the message with a heart, though still worried for her.
The whole team knew of her obsessive habit on doing things right on her own.
