Leaving isn't always an easy thing to do.

To choose whether to stay or to leave is a difficult decision.

Consider all the factors:

Where do you go?

How do you start your new life?

... How do you leave your family behind?

But I simply had to leave.

I couldn't risk hurting anyone.

This town isn't safe for anyone, for me.

I watched the horrid memories drift behind me as my cab reached the Ravenswood's leaving sign.

It was the hardest decision I've ever encountered, but it had to be done.

I payed the fee and thanked the cab driver.

Before I stepped past the boundary of our town, I stood in the middle of the road, staring at the Ravenswood sign.

That last thing I saw before I left. The sign.

It showed our population and town's symbol, a raven grasping a rose with it's talons.

September 7, 2005 was the day I left.
