Again. And again. And again. So many times. Why is this happening to me? I never did anything wrong in my life, so why? Yet I'm here at midnight staring at the moon. On the rooftop. With a fricking Devil. Since when did I become like this? Everything was so normal a week ago....

Exactly a week ago, everything was all fine. I had woken up at 6:00 am, and I was getting ready for school. I usually go by bus, which leaves at 7;00, so i really needed to hurry. I immediately packed my school bag, dumping all my books, textbooks and notebooks in. I don't really care. It's easier just taking everything to school. I ran to the bathroom to freshen up. I had just finished brushing my teeth and I was washing my face when I saw my reflection. I screamed.

It was me. The reflection in the mirror looked just like me. But at the same time, it wasn't me. The real me had soap on her chin and was panting. The girl in the mirror on the other hand... she was smirking and playing with her hair. Worst of all, the girl in the mirror had no eyes. There was nothing. It was hollow. Black. She tilted her head and said "Boo". I screamed. Again. Much louder. But this time, it was scarier. Because I felt somebody's breath on my neck. But no one was there.

My mom ran into the room. "Alliah! Are you okay? Why did you yell like that? What happened?"

I turned around. I couldn't tell my mum what I saw. She would think I was crazy. "Um....nothing happened. I just saw a cockroach. On the mirror" I was just saying anything at this point. "I just got slightly scared, so I stumbled back. And hit my leg on the door. That's it. Nothing else."

My mum raised an eyebrow. "Do you want a balm or a medicine or something?"

I could feel my ears heating up. I was really bad at lying. "Yeah, no thanks. I'm fine now."

"Hmm....okay, if you say so."

As soon as my mum left, I turned back and looked back at the mirror. This time, there was no reflection. Nothing at all. Actually, that's not true. I wasn't there. I wasn't visible in the reflection. I moved forward and pressed my hand against the glass. I still couldn't see its reflection. It was actually getting harder to breath. And behind me, I swear I heard someone laugh...
