The Lee and Park Family:

Lee and Park family are the two most well-known families. One can say they are the face of South Korea. Families with deep roots in history with lineage continued from ages. Both were equally powerful and respected by people. Some might think that there must be animosity between the two families but the reality was totally opposite. Lee Jae-Suk and Park Ha-Sun were childhood friends, one could easily tell how strong their bond was.

As they grew up, both had kids. Lee Jae Suk was blessed with a handsome son whom he named Lee Hyun Bin and a beautiful daughter named Lee Nayoung whereas Park Ha-Sun was blessed with extremely pretty and beautiful daughter named Park Se Jin.

As the kids grew up their facial feature became more prominent. Both Hyun Bin and Se Jin started having feelings for each other, they both started to like each other and soon the like changed into love. Both tied the knot and welcomed their first son, named Lee Heeseung. But Park Ha-Sun was troubled as Se Jin was the last descendent of the family with Park surname. Heeseung was his grandchild but he cannot be considered Park because of the Lee surname. Being an aristocratic family they just couldn't let their long lineage end just like this with Se Jin.

Soon it was revealed that Se Jin was expecting again. In order to find solution to Ha Sun's problem Lee Jae-Suk decided that Hyun Bin and Se Jin's second child will be given Park surname so that the Park lineage could continue. First son will take over Lee family and the second one will take over Park. During monthly checkup the couple found that this time they were expecting twins. Both twins were born with a 5 minute difference. The elder twin was named Park Jonsung and the second one was named Park Sunghoon. Everyone thought that there will be no more kids to the couple as handling three moody kids was enough of a headache but Se Jin again got pregnant after 8 years and gave birth to Ni-ki who was decided to carry the Lee surname just for the sake to make it equal.

Any person who met the brothers at first got confused as how the four brothers have different surname thinking maybe they are step brothers but actually they are not.

As we say life will not be called life if their are no ups and downs in it. The happiness of this family also came to an end.

The Lee and Park couple were coming back from a business trip when their car got crashed with a heavy truck and they lost their life, leaving behind their four kids and lovely parents.

Heeseung was just 20 at that time. He hadn't even completed his studies. But that day he did not just lost his parents but also the love of his life, his girlfriend who was coming with his parents to the mansion to meet him.

It was a heavy blow not just to the kids but also to the couples parents. The world was in an uproar due to the sudden death of the heads of the biggest empire in the world. Even though Ha Sun and Jae Suk were grieving their kids death, they couldn't run away from the responsibility of thousands of people who work under them. They took the office again and waited for Heeseung to graduate so he could take over the business.

Heeseung who was filled with grief had become expressionless and cold. The once happy and cheerful boy could not be seen anymore. Jay and Sunghoon had also became empty from inside.

All got back to normal when a crying 9 year old Ni-ki came to Heeseung asking where his mum and dad were. Why hadn't they came back yet. Why had Heeseung became so quiet suddenly. Why his Jay hyung doesn't get angry on him anymore when he play pranks on him or why his Sunghoon hyung, whom he had never seen crying was crying.

Even though Ni-ki was old enough to know what death is but he had denied to accept that his parents were no more. Being the youngest he was always pampered by his parents and hyungs. How could he accept easily that his lovely mother who nagged him for doing his school homework on time was no more. How could he accept that his father who always protected him from his mother was no more. How could he accept that his hyungs were doing something they had never done. All this was unacceptable to the then young Ni-ki.
