"Oh, Divine Priestess, please send your prayers to my poor child." The old woman said.
"Divine Priestess, please keep my husband safe from anything that will harm him." The young woman said.
"Oh, Divine Priestess, please make sure my brother comes home safely." A young child said.
"Oh, Divine Priestess....." They all said.
"Oh, Divine Priestess........."
All of their voices echoed in her head.
"Divine Priestess, you have an appointment with the Divine Counselor around 3 in the afternoon" A servant told her.
"Oh yes...." Asteri said in a daze, awakening from her daydream. As the light from the window behind her shone brightly onto her pitch-black hair while she sat on her chair.
Asteri and the servant left the office and headed towards the Divine Counselor's office. Once they arrived, Asteri knocked at the door.
A voice spoke, it said
"Come in."
The servant pulled both of the doors open for the Divine Priestess. Asteri slowly walked, each of her steps were elegant and graceful.
She gently bowed towards the man who sat upright in his chair with tons of papers on his desk.
Then the man spoke.
"Divine Priestess, please take a seat."
The Divine Priestess sat down on the chair infront of the desk.
The Divine Counselor said in an authorative tone.
"Divine Priestess, I've heard that you've canceled the praying ceremony tomorrow?"
"Yes, I dreamt of the prophecy." Asteri replied melancholy.
Then several knocks landed on the door.
The man asked.
"What is it?"
A worried voice of a servant was heard saying.
"D-Divine Counselor, There was a large meteor!"
"What?"
He said in surprise.
They both walked out of the room, heading towards the greenhouse.
As they walked, the Divine Counselor whispered to the servant.
"When did this happen?"
The servant replied.
"It happened about 15 minutes ago."
They arrived at the greenhouse and saw young man.
The young man resembled a vampire because of his pale complexion and dark hair.
He was dressed in elaborate clothing. His coat's hem was lined with a cloth that was tinted gold, creating a distinctive design.
He wore a simple white shirt with a subtle pattern and a small insignia that was barely visible at the cuff of his sleeve.
An elegant pocket watch was worn on his waist. It hung on his belt and looked like a family treasure.
He was wearing an ostentatious-looking bracelet. It appears to be made of gold, and the bracelet has an engraved pattern that is both straightforward and distinctive. However, there appears to be a missing gem.
Then the Divine Counselor instructed the servants to bring the man to one of the spare bedrooms.
The man's eyes opened, he seemed to be in a daze. He then said, "Where am I..."
Asteri replied while slightly smiling. "We're currently in Crepuscule, it's the land separating the Soleil and Lune Empire."
"Oh.." he didn't seem surprised.
