Birthday Surprise

ONESHOT

You woke up to the smell of rose petals and the aroma of an amazing breakfast. Looking around the room, you saw Bang Chan trying to blow balloons quietly, not wanting to wake you up. You smiled and laid still, pretending to sleep as you didn't want his efforts in surprising you go to waste.

He tried filling clear balloons with heart confetti, accidently dropping the confetti packet on the floor. Cursing under his breath, he bent down to pick them up. He stopped what he was doing and glanced behind, You swiftly closed your eyes shut. He sighed with relief and went back to what he was doing. An hour had gone by now. His phone buzzed as his alarm went off, he looked at his buzzing phone and then at you." I'll be right back love" He whispered.

As soon as he left you got up and went towards to make sure he was not there anymore. You screamed and giggled as you looked around the room completely, seeing the effort he had put in to make your day perfect. You walked towards the bathroom wanting to wash your face. You lightly opened the door to the bathroom, gasping loudly for the scene in front of you. The room was filled with roses, lilies and half-way blossomed lotuses. The bathtub was surrounded by bath bombs, wine and your favourite books. It was as if your whole life was complete, rather surreal.

" No, you're awake! MY SURPRISE IS RUINED!" You looked behind you, glancing at a disappointed bangchan with a tray full of your preferred snacks making you melt even more. You smiled warmly, almost about to cry, feeling overwhelmed.

" This is....amazing channie...."

Putting the tray on the bed, he approached you while smiling ear to ear knowing that you liked what he worked on.

" I'm happy that you like it, love" Chan said beaming. He hugged you warmly while you hugged him tightly, feeling tender in his embrace. He looked at you, tilting his head, making you blush profusely, hitting his chest lightly mumbling ''Don't look at me like that~"

"Then what should i do" replying teasingly

"Stop~"

He lightly chuckled under his breath, kissing your head.

" Ok ok, freshen up im waiting" He said winking and left the bathroom. You came back into your senses and realized you were not breathing, looking in the mirror you saw how cherry red you were, cringing on your reaction.

You came out, having a towel wrapped around your body, you glanced around the room and didn't see Chan, but something caught your eyes. You saw a pretty dress lying on the bed perfectly with a note beside it reading " I'll be waiting for you in the living room. Smiling, you took the dress and went back inside the bathroom to wear it.

You looked at yourself in the mirror, the dress looked stunning on your body. Drying your hair and styling them, you went outside to the living room, having a sight of bangchan pacing in the room back and forth, repeating a few lines again and again. The click-clacking of your heels made his attention divert to you, admiring you.

" You look beautiful"

Your eyes twinkled in the dull lighting as the blinds were closed and candles were all scattered around the room having petals around them.

You walked towards Christopher, not breaking eye contact. You were now standing in front of him. He almost whispered " May I have this dance, extending his hand towards you. You placed your hand in his palm and said " Yes you may". He held your waist while guiding your hands on his shoulder. Light music played in the background while you and him slowly danced in a joined pace, looking into each other's eyes as if they were talking. You slowly brought your face and leaned it on his shoulder, he hugged you in his embrace as you danced lovingly.

"Thank you" You whispered

"I'll do it a million times if it was for you" He whispered back
