Haechan: "Wait? You want an ambulance? Are you that sick?"
You: "i........"
Continued:
You fainted without finishing your sentence. It is a very clear sign of how unwell you have become.
Mark: "Oh my gosh. She passed out. Call the ambulance now!"
Haechan: "What the heck. This is very serious. Claire! Claire! Are you okay? Can you hear us?"
They look very shocked and panicked as your body goes unresponsive.
Mark: "Get my phone here right now Jaemin. We have to call an ambulance. This isn't something she can just sleep off."
Jaemin: "I will get the phone and call. You guys try to keep her safe until the paramedics arrive."
The sound of the doorbell ringing interrupts the tense atmosphere.
Jaemin: "It must be the paramedics! Quickly! Let them in!"
The paramedics immeidatelu begin their assessment, checking your vital signs and evaluating your condition. They speak in a calm and professional tone:
Paramedic 1: "It seems like she is very dehydrated. We will need to start administering some fluids now."
The three of them looks very concerned.
Paramedic 2: "Don't worry. We will get her to the hospital now to get checked up."
The paramedics start preparing a saline drip and connecting it to your body. They carefully monitor your vitals as the IV fluids start flowing.
Paramedic 1: "We're administering fluids now. It'll take some time for her to properly rehydrate, but this will help stabilise their condition."
Paramedic 2: "We'll closely monitor their vitals during transportation to the hospital. Please don't be too worried."
While the paramedics were checking up on you, Jaemin has already packed all the essential items for you - toothbrush, towels, changing clothes, etc
The paramedics finish up their initial assessment and prepare to transport you to the hospital.
Paramedic 1: "Alright, we are ready to take her to the hospital. Please follow us down to the ambulance."
Mark, Haechan and Jaemin all watched anxiously as the paramedics carefully lift you onto the stretcher and secure you for transport.
The paramedics wheel the stretcher out of the room, with three of them close behind.
They make their way to the ambulance parked outside, get onto the ambulance and quickly rush to the hospital.
On the ambulance, three of them are still visibly worried and shaken by the situation. They sit nearby, watching the paramedics attend you.
Jaemin sits right next to you, holding your hand, trying to offer some comfort.
Jaemin: "Hang in there. We are going to the hospital now. They will fix you there, so don't panic."
The ambulance ride feels agonizingly long for the members, each minute passing by feeling like an eternity. They watch over you silently, their worry growing with each passing moment.
Finally, the ambulance reaches the hospital, and the paramedics carefully transfer you out of the ambulance, rushing you into the Emergency Department.
As the paramedics wheel your gurney into the emergency room, medical professionals quickly take over. Nurses and doctors swarm around you, taking vital signs, hooking you up to various monitors, and asking questions about your condition.
Doctor: "What's the patient's history? How long have they been experiencing symptoms? Did they lose consciousness at any point?"
Mark quickly relay the information to the doctor
Mark: "She has been sick since this morning. She started vomiting this afternoon and passed out at home for a bit."
Doctor: "Based on the information you gave, it seems like she is severely dehydrated due to prolonged vomiting. We will run a few more test to make sure everything is alright."
The nurses swiftly prepare tools for further examination.
Doctor: "we will also need to administer medication to stop nausea and vomiting. I will contact the gastroenterologist on duty to see if there is any need fo further intervention or examinations."
After performing further examinations, doctor and nurses leave the room for you to have a better environment to rest.
Mark: "How long will it take for the tests to come back?"
The doctor glances at the device he has.
Doctor: "The blood test results should be available soon. Other test may take a bit longer. I will let you guys know once the results are out. I will say today is a busy day, so maybe 3-4 hours?"
Mark: "Okay. Thank you so much. I think it is good for Claire to take a rest now as well."
The doctor nods understandingly.
Doctor: "Yes. She has been through a lot today, she must be exhausted. It is a good idea to let her rest now."
After, the doctor left the room, Mark quickly go up to your bed and look at you. He is very worried about you. He pulled a chair next to the bed, sat there and hold your hand softly.
Mark gently whisper into your ear: "Goodnight buddy. We will be right here when you wake up. Get well soon, okay?"
Haechan and Jaemin both came up and said Goodnight to you too.
As they finish saying goodnight, Jaemin and Haechan gradually walk out of the room, leaving you a quiet space to rest.
After a few minute, Mark also stood up and leave the room, letting you rest peacefully without any noises or distractions.
Once Mark get outside, all the other brothers got to the hospital. They are all gathering in a waiting area nearby. Their thoughts are just confusmed by worry and concern for you. The space feels strangely quiet without you in it, and the atmosphere is heavy with tension and worry.....
