I sat in my chair, sipping my coffee, and contemplating whether to message Andriana. Salvatore burst into the room, his enthusiasm infectious."Of course, you should!" he exclaimed, his arms spread wide.
I raised an eyebrow, questioning his sudden interruption. "Go ahead?"
Salvatore's voice rose, his words laced with excitement. "You're a pain to ears, Olek, if you don't message her!"
I chuckled, shaking my head, and took another sip of my coffee. "You're reading my mind, Sal."
Salvatore smirked, his eyes twinkling. "Well, your thoughts are loud enough, Olek."
I smiled, feeling a sense of brotherly camaraderie. "Message her, come on, I dare you," he challenged, his fingers drumming against the armrest.
I relented, typing out a message on my phone. "Hey, feeling okay after last night?"
As I waited for her response, my mind wandered to her well-being. "Did she eat anything?" I wondered, recalling the honey water I had prepared for her. "Ask her if she hasn't drunk the honey water or not?" Salvatore suggested, as if reading my mind again.
I shot him a disbelieving look, but he just rolled his eyes playfully. When Andriana didn't respond, I assumed she was ignoring me. To make her heart flutter, I decided to take a bold step. "I'm going to meet her," I announced to Salvatore.
He nodded, a knowing glint in his eye. "Go get her, bro."
The ride to her house was fast, my eagerness to see her propelling me forward.
As I arrived, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves, wondering how she would react to my surprise visit. As I stood leaning against my car, I couldn't help but notice Andriana's body language.
She walked out of her house with a hesitant stride, her eyes fixed on me with a mix of wariness and curiosity. Her shoulders were slightly hunched, and her arms were crossed, indicating a defensive posture.
She is adorable!
When I smirked and greeted her, she rolled her eyes, but her cheeks flushed, betraying her attempt to appear nonchalant. Her eyes darted away, and she fidgeted with her hands, revealing her nervousness.
As I pushed off from the car and took a step closer, Andriana's eyes snapped back to mine, her pupils dilating slightly. She took a step back, her weight shifting onto one leg, indicating a subtle retreat.
But despite her attempts to appear aloof, I noticed a faint tremble in her lips, and her gaze kept drifting back to mine, like she was drawn to me despite herself.
