-ISABELA'S POV-
"OH MY GOD? you're serious?!"
i questioned shocked, with wide eyes, as tiana just informed me about her college decision.
tiana squealed as she nodded her head crazy. "yes!! i can't believe it!" she pulled me in a tight hug and of course i embraced her as well. "im so proud of you tia." i told her.
"i wouldn't make it without you." tiana pulled away to look at me with a wide smile. "when are you leaving?" i ask her.
"this friday." i was once again surprised by her answer and my smile falters. "already this soon? you really have to?"
"i know it is, but i have to. i'm so sorry" tiana spoke as i clearly heard the sadness and guilt in her voice wich made me feel even more bad.
"don't be sorry. i understand, don't worry. you always have dreamed of this." i smile at her, to make her feel less sad for her leaving me. tiana smiles back as well and hugs me once more.
"you're the best! i wish you could just come with me."
hold on...
"actually, wait..that's so smart!" i burst out with excitement and surprise. tiana tilted her head slightly in concern. "how do you suppose to do that? your mom won't ever let you."
"oh but does my mom have to know?"
"i mean..she would really be angry i think.." tiana mumbles hesitantly and i shake my head.
"listen, i know this may sound really...crazy, but this is probably my only chance to leave." i explain to tiana with my voice changing in a more serious and calm tone.
tiana looked still a bit hesitant and unsure about my idea, so i tried to convince her more. "i can't live like this anymore tia. please." i plead her as my hope grew every second bigger.
tiana sighed, before answering. "okay, i really would love that. but still, how do you suppose to come with me? you didn't finish school, and plus what about the money?"
i think for a moment, what tiana was talking about is true. i'm still not finished with school yet but i don't care honestly. about the money, well maybe i can take from my mother..
