surprisingly, it's doing well.

here you were, at the pizzaplex.

You know that you have been toured around but this is your official day, and your understandably nervous.

It's a huge place with bright and fun colors, shiny floors with multiple robots (you are quite afraid of them because of the robots taking the world. Back then you thought it wouldn't be possible, but this whole technology craze is going feral.)

For just a few minutes, you stand there. In the entrance, trying to process the amount of stimulation and sensations it's giving you. It's quite overwhelming and it tingles your skin in a bad way, but you ignore it like how you mostly do with your problems.

Almost immediately your jumpscared by this dumbass robot with a cute hat on. It gives you a map and your thankful you don't need to talk to a human being. Vanessa is lovely, she really is, but man.

Opening the doors to the daycare and entering in, you took a sigh of relief. Reaching something in your pocket, you took out a neatly folded paper.

Of course, the staff members explained to you the process and what to do in a meeting and while during the tour but unfortunately you have the mind of an Gen alpha with their dusty crusted cracked iPad that is on their life support.

Luckily, they gave you a list of instructions in the paper. Angels in disguise they are, you will forever be grateful. You sighed but then heard quite a loud noise in the ball pit. The balls rustled a bit. You took note how fucking massive the whole Ball pit is. How many kids are being brought into this daycare?

But anyway, It was like somebody jumped in.

You looked up and there was a balcony at the top. You grimaced, how do they have the courage to do that?

You walked closer to the ball pit. They probably fell on accident. Better find out if their alive or not.

You leaned closer to the ball pit, slowly rummaging the balls to see some kid who accidentally fell or probably an object that rolled off. A large and heavy one.

Hm, shouldn't the daycare be closed right now?

Wait, clos—?

"Hello, friend!" A tall bright yellowed animatronic popped up out of nowhere, hoisting you up by the under of your armpits. This must be Sundrop?

You have to admit, he sort of looks like a clown or a jester.

"Are you the new guard?" Sundrop(?) smiled brightly, still holding you.

You sweated as he easily manhandled you around.

"..uh, can you put me down first?" You said meekly, you felt intimidated by this... What? 9 feet tall robot that can easily carry you? No matter how bright and colored he is, you were still wary and scared.

Sundrop(?) smiled and nodded, "Ah, of course!" He seemed to take note of your expression. He looked to be ashamed now. "Im sorry if I gave you a scared you. I just get so excited whenever a new friend comes in!"

These robots are really advanced, You thought.

You were gently put down on your two feet. You looked up at Sundrop(?) and answered his question.

"Yes, I'm new.. uhm.." where did that casual confidence go?

"You must be.. Sun...drop?" You said with a questioning tilt. Sundrop(?) doesn't seem to mind your timid behavior anyway.

"Mhm! I'm Sun, or I guess in other nicknames, Sundrop!" Sun said, his lips in a smile. You guess that the speaker is elsewhere.

"What's your other nicknames?" You asked.

"Well, there's Sunny, Sunray, Sunlight, and then the most popular, Sundrop!" Sun smiled, but to be honest, he was always smiling. His voice was upbeat. Everything he did was cheerful.

"..why's Sundrop the most popular?" You fiddled with the folded paper.

"it's because it's my name in the candy, widely spread throughout the markets!" Sun tossed you it. You have no idea how it appeared and you don't really want to eat it. You know, not wanting to be poisoned and all.

"I believe it's because they thought that Sundrop is my name when it's really just the candy's name." Sun explained.

You observed the candy, "Oh." It was quite cute and small. "I'll try this later." You put it in your pocket. Sun just nodded.

"Ah, wait. I haven't told you my name, haven't I?" You tilted your head.

Sun shook his head. "I already know it, friend. You don't need to introduce yourself!"

You deadpanned. So that's cool. He knows your name and you didn't have to tell him. Does he know you used to eat crack too?

"..how?" You looked up at him, your neck was gonna strain you swear.

"Ah, your badge." Sun pointed to the small plate on the side of your chest.

You face fumed in red. You completely forgotten you had that. Shit. This is way embarrassing then when Jaiden talked to Kai in the cube.

You nodded stiffly. "Oh. I.. see."

Sun did a close eyed smile.

[WIP. I impulsively made this at 1:30 am on a Monday. I will finish it soon so I can make chapter 2.)
