Part 4!

Arthur's POV:

I was driving through the middle of the city, after just leaving my apartment 10 minutes before I knew Lexi would.

I pulled up to her apartment building and got out of my car and started heading inside towards the lifts to take me up to her floor.

My heart was beating, but if I didn't talk to her now I probably wouldn't ever talk to her about the situation and we would just be awkward fuckers around each other for the rest of our lives. So I knew I would just have to face it and talk to the blonde girl.

I stood outside her door with my back against the wall for about 5 minutes but it felt like forever, until I saw the lift door open a small yellow light crept out of the gap and then she walked out.

I knew she recognized me the second she walked out, "Arthur? What are you doing here?" Lex spoke up when she reached me.

"We really need to talk about last night lex" I only ever call her Lex I haven't heard anyone else call her Lex the whole time I've known her, nearly a whole decade I've known this blonde girl. My best friends younger sister.

I didn't know how but I only met Lexi when she was 14 and I had known Chris since I was 11, I knew that he had a sister yet he never introduced me to her I didn't know her name, I didn't even know she went to my school until she walked up to me and Chris in the hallway to ask Chris if he had her water bottle.

The girl standing in front of me let out a small sigh, I was expecting her to say no but instead she pulled out her key and let me into her apartment guiding me to the sofa to sit down.

Lexi's pov:

I sat with my hands in my lap desperately waiting for Arthur to say the first word but I couldn't help myself and cut straight ahead,

"Look Arthur, I am so sorry that I kissed you last night. I was drunk and it was a mistake I'm really sorry."

I heard the brunette boy let out a sigh next to me,

"Well thanks for telling me Lex that it was a mistake because I'm pretty sure my girlfriend wouldn't approve of another girl kissing me" Arthur let out a small chuckle as he said that

A WHAT. HE HAS A WHAT. my head swarmed with questions. When did he have a girlfriend? For how long? WHAT THE FUCK?!

"Oh yeah I'm sure she wouldn't, but if you don't mind me asking how long have you had a girlfriend for?" I could hear the nervousness in my voice myself so that meant Arthur 100% could to.

"We've only been dating for a couple weeks now it's not been very long"

"Oh okay, we'll urm thanks for the talk you best get going now shouldn't you it's getting pretty late" I was trying my very best to get Arthur out of my apartment so I could listen to Taylor swift and cry myself to sleep.

"Yeah I should bye Lex" and with that Arthur was out of my apartment and I was laying on my bed with my head buried into my pillow crying all my mascara off my eyelashes. I knew I was staining my pillow but did I care? No.

10:57 was the time that was written on the wallpaper of my phone. I stayed up all night crying thinking about how stupid I was and how Arthur probably hates me.

I thought to myself I should probably get out of my bed and sort myself out as I probably looked a mess. I rubbed my eyes and walked over to my wardrobe laying out my outfit for the day, I pulled out a pair of blue jeans, a white long sleeve crop top and a pair of my red adidas campus shoes.

I made my way to my bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. Oh dear.

My face was covered in tear stains and my hair was all knotted and a mess, I started to get ready doing my skincare as well as my makeup before I moved onto doing my hair. I decided to do a simple slick back bun because I couldn't be bothered to wash my hair.

I walked back to my bedroom and put on my outfit and added some gold jewelry to make myself look not too basic. I pulled out my phone and saw that it was 11:30, I decided that I was going to go and get some coffee so I grabbed my shoulder bag and left for the tube.

The tube wasn't too busy just a few men in suits clearly heading to work or maybe even a date then some girls filming themselves doing the tube girl trend which I knew was long out of style. I then heard my stop being called so I got out to the tube making sure to mind the gap between the train and platform (if your from london ykyk). I had texted Rose while walking to the coffee asking if she wanted to meet me there which she happily accepted.

I entered the shop ordering a white chocolate Frappuccino like always and sat down at a table waiting for Rose, after about 5 minutes of waiting I saw her walk through the door I waved at her once she had spotted me and she started to make her way over to me.

"Hey girl, oh my gosh your gonna hate me for this but I have to tell you" I then filled my best friend in of what had happened over the last 24 hours and as soon as I was done the poor girls jaw was practically on the ground. She looked up at me and I could tell she was not happy with both me and Arthur but she was mostly mad at Arthur for letting me kiss him and not pull away even though he knew he had a girlfriend.
