after i encountered that weird but somehow charming girl i called my driver and went straight home. Finally unlocking the door i see lights still shining brightly.
"You waited for me ?" i said surprised looking at heeseung who is sitting on my dining chair.
"You're acting as if i'm not doing it all the time" he said while rolling his eyes.
"What did the bodyguard wanted ?"
"He said he's quitting his job." i said while i pulled out my cigarette
"WHAT out of nowhere ?! he can't do that his contract is ending on Niki's eighteenth birthday." he said in angry tone
"Chill it's okay i already found his substitute."
i said in a calm tone puffing out the cigarette
"oh i'm not bodyguarding that little skunk ever again , find someone else"
"Calm down its not you who i'm talking about,
i found woman in a bar with satisfactory fighting skills" i said proudly finishing my cigarette
"i hope you're joking that you want to hire a random women you just met"
"actually i'm not , i'm meeting her tomorrow to make sure she fits the role."
"listen i don't think it's a good idea to hire somebody this boldly and letting her this close to your brother , everybody is after you" heeseung carefully stated with serious face and concern in his voice
"god heeseung stop being so paranoid i got this besides she's pretty attractive Niki will be head over heels for her and maybe finally behave. I reassure you that everything will be fine. Now goodnight get some quality sleep those eye bags won't disappear magically "
i finished flashed a smile and left to my bedroom
Wonyoung's pov
"home sweet home"
i said to myself finally entering my house after long and tiring day. I turned on the light and almost shitted myself .
"MOM what the hell are you doing here , why didn't you call me beforehand i nearly got a heart attack"
"Well young lady i didn't have to call you since you hide your spare key under the first flower pot next to the door, how reckless..."
she scoffed
"and obviously i'm waiting for you"
"who's waiting for their daughter motionless on the couch with the lights off ?!" i said too tired to argue back about the spare key
"How was the first meeting ? Did you got him ?" she asked with big curiosity in eyes.
I lay down next to her and confidently answered.
"Yup wrapped him all around my finger . Within a week you'll have all the proof that this sunghoon psycho is killing people"
i expected some happy reaction from her but she only coldly said
"Don't be so sure darling i have sent many agents after him and no one accomplished the mission yet" she finished and brushed hair out of my face
"When will you meet him again ?"
"Tomorrow, like i said your talented daughter already got him, it's a date" i winked at her while grinning mischievously
"very well then sleep tight you have a big day ahead of you , make me proud." she said and left without turning back
"AAAAGSHGAAA" i screamed into my pillow frustrated "Why is she like thisssss"
i immediately called ryunjin and told her everything that my mom did
"I can't believe she said that , that women has no faith in you " i heard on the other line
"Right ?! thats what i through ,can't she trust me for once ? i trained my whole life for this ."
we gossiped till who knows when and both fell asleep while calling each other
